Meet Dwight Schrute. Yes, that Dwight Schrute — only shorter, fuzzier, and way more into cuddles than beets. And yes, we realize that identity theft is not a joke—but we couldn’t resist! His life motto is: “I am ready to face any challenges that might be foolish enough to face me.” Dwight is a lovable little pug mix with a whole lot of personality packed into his small frame. Dwight enjoys following you around the house like it’s his job — and let’s be honest, it probably is. He takes his self-assigned role of “assistant to the regional human” very seriously. He loves his daily morning stroll (about a mile!) and often rewards himself afterward with some spirited zoomies—because why not? He’s great with other dogs, though he sometimes loves them a bit too much and can get vocal if he sees a pup he can’t meet. He’s house-trained and will politely let you know when it’s time to go outside. Most of Dwight’s day is spent snoozing peacefully in his kitchen bed (roughly 20 hours per day!). Despite being an older gentleman, Dwight is incredibly friendly—with zero signs of the typical “little dog” attitude. He greets all humans with ease and enthusiasm, and his doggy hellos are… exuberant, to say the least. Despite moderate cataracts, some hearing loss, and a bit of stiffness (he just started carprofen to make him a bit more comfortable), Dwight is in good spirits. If you’re looking for a companion with a goofy side and a heart of gold, we think you’ll fall in love with Dwight faster than you can say “Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica.”

Jax had TPLO surgery in 2024 but moves well and is feisty for a 10 year old dog! He loves to cuddle in bed and gets along great with other dogs. Snookie is a 10 yr old black pug mix who has found herself needing a new home. She was rescued from the Richmond SPCA about 5/6 years ago after her owners had passed and unfortunately, has found herself in the same situation.She is spayed, UTD on shots and currently on Heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick medication. She is a total love bug who impatiently waits for you to sit down on the couch or chair so she can snuggle up as close as possible for some back rubs. She loves to sleep in the bed with you as well and prefers to be under the covers. Car rides and short walks are a fav and she does very well on a leash. She is house trained, crate trained, and her foster mom is currently working on helping her lose a few pounds to make life easier on her.

Lone survivor of a litter of puppies from Hurricane Harvey, the other pups (2 months old) drowned he was amongst other animals on a homestead in Houston Texas affected by flood waters at my cousins house. My family had him ever since but my family all gone separate ways and no one can keep him and mother is unable to take care of him due to old age. He is well behaved.He doesn't really talk too much, but he is very affectionate. He looks more pug than chihuahua. He does a have a tumor and takes allergy meds. I have a lot of animal food meds and other supplies for whom ever can get him.
