Story
Jax is a sweet puggle who has been through a lot of late, but shows no negative signs. He has had to move homes twice in his senior years. Jax had TPLO surgery in 2024 but moves well and is feisty for a 10 year old dog! He loves to cuddle in bed and gets along great with other dogs. He would do best in a home with someone who wants to lavish him with love and have a snoozing buddy for a good nap. Apply for Jax at apply.neshamarescue.org

Story
Snookie is a 10 yr old black pug mix who has found herself needing a new home. She was rescued from the Richmond SPCA about 5/6 years ago after her owners had passed and unfortunately, has found herself in the same situation. She is spayed, UTD on shots and currently on Heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick medication. She is a total love bug who impatiently waits for you to sit down on the couch or chair so she can snuggle up as close as possible for some back rubs. She loves to sleep in the bed with you as well and prefers to be under the covers. Car rides and short walks are a fav and she does very well on a leash. She is house trained, crate trained, and her foster mom is currently working on helping her lose a few pounds to make life easier on her.

Story
Tater Tot is the kind of girl who walks into a room and immediately lets you know she’s in charge. She is sassy, confident, playful, and endlessly affectionate in her own bold way. She loves to cuddle, loves to play, and has all the normal curiosity and mischief you expect from a puppy. She goes up and down the stairs with ease, plays like any other puppy her age, and enjoys being close to her people. Tater Tot was diagnosed with congenital hydrocephalus. At this time, the only neurological sign we are seeing is a mild head tremor. She is currently on a medical regimen for hydrocephalus, and while earlier treatment is often associated with better outcomes, her daily quality of life is currently very good. Her future is uncertain, but her present is very much that of a joyful, engaged puppy. We are seeking a special family willing to love her for whatever life she has. For the first 12 months after adoption, Perfectly Imperfect Pups will cover all medical care, including: Routine puppy care and vaccines All hydrocephalus-related diagnostics, medications, and treatment After 12 months, if Tater Tot is stable, medical responsibility will transition to her family. There is no adoption fee, but adopters must be financially able to provide ongoing care, food, and any future medical needs beyond that first year. We cannot promise how long her life will be.We can promise that she deserves a life full of love, comfort, and joy — however long that may be. pipsrescue.org/adopt or for questions, Nicole.k@pipsrescue.org ##2621793##
