Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Beef Based Diet Medication: NexGard Plus Meet Liza Jane 💕 Liza Jane is a petite, two-year-old exotic bulldog girl with a heart that shines brighter than her past. Though her early days were marked by hardship, this little survivor has blossomed into a joyful, loving companion who is ready to start her happily-ever-after. When Liza Jane first arrived in rescue, she was coming from very difficult circumstances. She had been malnourished and was battling a painful uterine infection. It’s clear that life hadn’t always been kind to her—but you would never guess it by the sparkle in her eyes today. With proper medical care, nourishing meals, and lots of gentle love, Liza Jane has made an incredible recovery. She has stepped bravely out of her past and into a brand-new chapter filled with hope. Small in size but mighty in spirit, Liza Jane doesn’t let anything slow her down. She is energetic and absolutely loves her walks! She’s still learning the ropes when it comes to leash manners, but she approaches every outing with enthusiasm and curiosity. With a little patience and consistency, she will continue to improve each day. Liza Jane is also working hard on her potty training. When given frequent opportunities and regular walks, she does very well going potty outside. She just needs a family who will continue that consistent routine and celebrate her successes along the way. At home, Liza Jane enjoys the balance of playtime and lazy snuggle sessions. She hasn’t quite discovered the magic of toys yet—perhaps no one ever showed her how fun they can be—but with time, encouragement, and a loving family, we’re confident she’ll learn that toys can be just as joyful as belly rubs and cozy naps. She is beginning to learn her manners in her foster home and will need a family committed to continuing that training. The good news? Liza Jane is very treat-motivated, which makes her eager to learn and responsive to positive reinforcement. With consistency and kindness, she will thrive. Liza Jane’s journey is a beautiful reminder of resilience. Despite everything she has endured, she greets life with excitement and an open heart. Now all she needs is a forever family to show her that her hardest days are behind her—and that her future is filled with long walks, soft beds, patient guidance, and endless love. If you’re ready to help this brave little girl continue her transformation, Liza Jane is ready to meet you. 🐾💕 ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Story
Location: Beavercreek, OH Food: Purina One Hydrolyzed Protein Medication: NexGard Plus monthly I am ready for my forever family!! I have beautiful blue eyes, as blue as the sky on a clear summer day. I am deaf and my other senses are heightened. So that’s pretty cool! I have some really pretty brown spots on my otherwise white coat. I feel it really makes me stand out in the crowd. I am the main character and I don’t need a supporting cast! I don’t really like being around other dogs and I REALLY dislike cats. Speaking of likes, I really like people. The older, the better! I don’t really enjoy hanging out with young kids and do best around humans who are 15 and up. My foster family thinks I am pretty funny. When I get excited I either hop or plop! I hop like a bunny and I plop for belly ribs. When I see you my entire body wiggles, not just my tale. I’m basically an overachiever. I love to be outside and I even like the snow! I am super curious and alert of my surroundings. I like to walk outside and my foster mom is working on my leash manners, but say I am learning! I sleep a lot, like a whole lot. I play in bursts and then lay down. I like to sit and lay right up against my humans but I’m not a lap dog. Like most bullies, I am VERY food motivated. I don’t want to brag, but I am really good at the sit command. As soon as I see my foster mom raise her hand in a sit command, I do it. Like. It’s. My. Job. Note from my foster mom- Aialik is a really sweet girl, but she requires a strong leader to make her feel safe. We will be looking bff for someone who has bully experience. ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Story
Location: Dayton, OH Food: Venison and Sweet Potato Medication: NexGard Plus Meet Victoria. 💕 She is the sweetest, most expressive little soul — affectionate, tender, and full of personality. Victoria will put her whole head into your lap like she’s known you forever. It melts us every time. She is also a fun dog who loves to zoom around the house. Victoria was found as a stray and had to fend for herself before coming into rescue. In order to survive, she learned to guard her food from other dogs. In foster care, she guards food, high-value bones, and even the water dish sometimes. Despite this, Victoria loves meeting and playing with other dogs. As long as bones and food are removed from the equation, she romps around joyfully with other dogs, playing, allowing everyone to smell her, and will back down if another dog cops an attitude with her. Victoria wants love — deeply. She loves fun playtime with other dogs, is highly treat motivated for best behavior, absolutely adores snuggling with her people, and tries her hardest to be a good girl. She is still learning what’s expected of her, but she is eager to please and wants so badly to get it right. Victoria is crate trained, house trained with occasional accidents, and great in the car. She is still working on loose leash walking. VICTORIA'S IDEAL HOME: Victoria would thrive as an only dog, or with a family experienced and comfortable managing resource guarding between dogs. She needs a strong leader, and someone who sees the diamond in the rough she truly is. And in return, you’ll get loyalty, laughter, zoomies, and a dog who will happily throw herself into your arms — and your life.
