Story
Location: Franklin, OH Food: Fromm Pork and Applesauce recipe Medication: HeartGard, NexGard, Tacrolimus eye drops, Optixcare eye lube plus Meet Bueller, a beautiful 5-year-old English bulldog who has overcome a lot and is finally ready to find his forever family! Bueller came into rescue the day after Thanksgiving and was quickly diagnosed with heartworm disease. He immediately began treatment, which lasted three months and required strict crate rest. During that time, he was also diagnosed with dry eye and will need special eye drops to keep his eyes comfortable. As soon as he completed his heartworm treatment, Bueller was able to get his "bulldog special" - neuter surgery along with nares and palate surgery - to help him breathe easier. Now that he's recovered, he's feeling great and ready to start the next chapter in his life! Bueller does well with other dogs and cats. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle him a bit, but he is slowly learning that the outside world isn't so scary. Once he is in the car, he doesn't mind riding along, and he walks nicely on a leash. He is crate trained and mostly house trained. If you are looking for a laid-back companion who just wants to relax and be by your side, Bueller might be the perfect match for you! Apply to adopt Bueller today and give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves! ***Adoption Process*** -All current pets in the home need to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and on veterinarian prescribed flea/tick/heart worm prevention. -Everyone living in the home, including all resident dogs, must be present at the meet and greet located in the Southwest Ohio area. -We DO NOT ship dogs!!!

Story
Location: Centerville, OH Food: Royal Canin GI multifunction Hydrolyzed Medication: NexGard Plus Harvey is a three year, 9 month old bully who is pretty laid back and loves everyone. He is a touch underweight and could use a couple extra snackos until he puts on a few pounds. We have been feeding him just a bit extra each meal to slowly get him where he needs to be. Harvey loves a good walk and does really well with almost no pulling at all. He gets along with all the dogs in our house and even ignores our house rabbit. He is a super happy guy. In fact, he is so happy that he has missing hair on his tail from wagging it so hard against the bars of his crate. He is crate trained and potty trained with his only accidents the first couple days here (different environment and schedule so to be expected). He would be good as a single dog or with a dog sibling or two. Due to his size and energy I’d recommend older children who are not easily knocked over by a bigger dog. He really is a happy go lucky guy who wants to be by your side and see what you are doing at all times. If you need a Velcro friend, Harvey may be the guy for you.

Story
Location: Hamilton, OH Food: Non-Poultry base protein, dry kibble Medication: NexGard Plus Mercedes is a 2 year old spayed English bulldog. She’s an affectionate and clingy little potato, with a slightly entitled personality lol. She wants to be as close to you as possible and doesn’t care if that means invading your space, you WILL let her love you! She’s great with w/ dogs and cats, but cannot be bothered to play with them usually. She is a PEOPLE dog and only cares about interacting with her humans. She LOVES: Exploring outside, treats, being included in all parts of your day, and ATTENTION. She does not enjoy her crate and will cause a ruckus until you free her…because she belongs with YOUUU!…With that being said, Mercedes is almost fully potty trained but at first may have an occasional accident if left to roam free at night, so crating is best until she fully learns a routine. Does she know what you mean when you say crate? Yes. Will she go? Nope lol. Mercedes has the most adorable defiant trait: If you ask her to do something she doesn’t want to do; she immediately drops down, rolls over, and shows you her belly. Then wags and wiggles until you pet her instead. Luckily, this is the most protesting she does, and will do as told after much convincing (with the saddest face you’ve ever seen). She has no food/resource aggression and is a breeze for baths, nails, medicating, etc. The only “bad” trait she has is a fear of strangers approaching her with medium-large objects in hand. This is the only time I’ve seen her growl or be defensive. She gets over it fairly quickly though once bribed with treats or belly rubs…Overall, If your looking for a squishy face to be your shadow 24/7, that’s down for any activity as long as she’s included, Mercedes is your girl!
