Matilda is a young female with a gentle soul who prefers to take life at a slower, quieter pace. She can be nervous when meeting new people and needs a little time to feel safe, but once she warms up, her sweet and loyal personality begins to shine. Matilda isn’t a fan of loud environments or chaotic households—she does best in a calm, predictable space where she can relax and be herself. She’s looking for a patient, understanding home that will let her build trust at her own speed and show her that the world can be a kind place. With time, consistency, and love, Matilda will make a deeply rewarding companion for the right person.The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9am-1pm. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment.
