Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. Gus can be unsure of meeting new people at first, and may be a little shy and territorial. Once he knows you, he will be your best friend for life. He will welcome you with kisses, happy jumps, lots of tail wags. When Gus was owner surrendered, we were told that he is potty trained and does know how to use a bell to alert when needing to use the bathroom. He is also not much of a barker, gets along great with dogs, rides well in a car, and walks well on leash. Gus is neutered, 4DX negative, microchipped, current on all vaccinations, and protected with ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. His adoption fee is $400. To apply to adopt Gus, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Gus is currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee.
