I am so full of love for anyone who talks nice to me. My ears perk up, my feet get to stompin and booty gets to hoppin whenever you say my name. My last chapter of life was hard on my body, so I lost quite a bit of fur. Bath time with special shampoo really helps me feel pretty again, and I'm a good girl in the bath! I get along really well with my foster brothers! Ive learned how to play and even chew on toys. I'm very quiet in my crate. And when I'm not in my crate, I love to follow my foster dad around. He's my favorite! He makes me feel really special and safe! My foster family thinks I'm so silly with my special dance I do. I love to dance! Medical: Eye drops-lifelong Hi!! I'm Sky My ideal family would have other dogs for me to socialize with, I'm a serious girl but enjoy a good romp with other pups! I love to go on car rides and especially enjoy ice cream as a special treat! I've had no accidents while in my foster home and love to follow my foster mom everywhere she goes. I rarely bark but will make low whining noises when I want her or want something from her. I am very social so someone with an active social life would be great! I lost my eye just before coming to rescue and will require lifetime eye drops to treat my remaining eye. While in foster care I healed and learned to navigate the world with my one eye, I can go up and down stairs and navigate my world very easily. My foster mom has taken me to stores and I just inspire everyone that I meet!! I'm the best girl and the family chosen for me will be so lucky! I like kids but would probably prefer older ones that are dog experienced just because I'm new to the one eye thing. I have proven to be potty trained and while I don't prefer being in a crate I will comply. My foster mom allows me to stay out in my own room and I love nothing more than to curl up inside a big blanket that I pull to the gate on the door to wait for her to return. While she’s never tried to attack another dog it’s important to keep her in a dog-free environment. She can be a bit grumpy and defensive at times, especially when she feels stressed by a situation — like being too close to another dog, seeing her own reflection, or even a picture of a dog. At night, she’s a bit grumpy when it’s time to move from her comfy bed to her crate. Leashing her to guide her helps, and she cooperates much better with less growling.If you have experience with dogs who have had a rough past but just want to be the best, most loved companion ever, then Lily is the girl for you!
