🐾 Meet Grant – Your Playful Little Best Friend! 🐾 Hi, I’m Grant, a pug with a big personality, lots of energy, and a whole lot of love to give! I’m super friendly, playful, and convinced that everyone I meet is a new friend just waiting to play with me. Life is more fun when you have friends, right? I’m especially obsessed with Corvin, my foster family’s baby! ❤️ I absolutely adore him and love being part of the action. I think I’d make a wonderful family dog for a family looking for a fun-loving companion who wants to be involved in everything. Now, don’t let my pug face fool you. I have a surprising amount of energy for a pug! I’ll do best with an active family who can keep me moving and engaged, or with someone who already knows and loves the energetic side of the pug personality. The good news? I’m a good boy in my crate and do well in the house, so I’ve got some great qualities to bring to my new home, along with all my goofy charm. If you’re looking for a happy, playful, people-loving pup who thinks everyone is his best friend, I might just be your guy! Could you be the forever family I’ve been waiting for? 🐶❤️

Story
Meet Goyo Chill, Loving, and Friendly With Everyone—Even Cats! Breed: Pug Chi Mix Gender: Male | Age: 9/28/2024 Weight: 21 lbs (small) Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats ✔️ Personality: ❤️ Loving | Very Chill | Affectionate | Friendly Medical: ✔️ Neutered | ✔️ Vaccinations Up to Date Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Goyo is an adorable Chug mix weighing approximately 21 pounds, and his personality is just as lovable as his little face. He's a very chill, loving boy who is friendly with everyone—including dogs, children, and cats. Goyo has an easygoing nature and enjoys companionship without needing to make everything complicated. He's the kind of little guy who can happily be part of everyday family life—hanging out with his people, enjoying a leisurely walk, getting some affection, and then settling in nearby to relax. As a Chug mix, Goyo may share some of the breed's typical qualities. Chugs are often affectionate, social, playful, charming, and strongly attached to their people. Many are happiest simply being included in whatever their family is doing. Goyo's naturally relaxed personality makes him especially endearing. He doesn't need nonstop excitement to be happy. Love, companionship, comfortable places to relax, and people who enjoy having him around are much more his style. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Although Goyo is already an adult, every dog needs time to understand a new home and routine. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so his adopter should be prepared to continue reinforcing house manners, leash skills, basic commands, recall, and household boundaries as needed. His naturally friendly personality is a wonderful foundation, but consistency and positive-reinforcement training will still help him understand what his new family expects from him. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand his new household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home These are guidelines rather than deadlines. Even a friendly, easygoing dog like Goyo deserves time to settle in at his own pace. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Goyo is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. His future family should continue routine veterinary examinations, recommended vaccine boosters, parasite prevention, dental care, nail care, quality nutrition, healthy weight management, appropriate exercise, and veterinary treatment whenever necessary. Because Goyo is a French Bulldog mix, his family should also be mindful of possible brachycephalic, or short-nosed, characteristics. Dogs with shorter airways can be more sensitive to heat, humidity, and strenuous exercise. Goyo should have access to cool indoor spaces and fresh water during warm weather, and his family should watch for excessive panting, overheating, or breathing difficulties. Keeping him at a healthy weight is also particularly important. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Goyo, please complete an adoption application: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. While based in Southern California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Our goal is to give every dog the best possible chance of finding the right family and a home where they will be loved and cared for throughout their life. Adopting Goyo means committing to his veterinary care, safety, companionship, training, and happiness for the rest of his life. Goyo is friendly with dogs, kids, and cats, but what he really seems to love is simply being close to his people. He's chill, affectionate, and ready for a comfortable life filled with love. Give Goyo a cozy place beside you, and he may decide that's exactly where he belongs.November 2, 2026, 7:45 pm

Meet Tancho A Tender, Loving Pug With a Big Heart and a Little Extra Personality! Breed: Pug Gender: Male | Age: 6 Years DOB: 10/28/2020 Weight: Not Provided Good With: Dogs ✔️ (Can Be Reactive Toward Larger Dogs) | Kids ✔️ | Cats ✔️ Personality: Tender | Loving | Affectionate | Sweet | Occasionally Feisty Medical: Neutered ✔️ | Vaccinations Up to Date ✔️ | Microchip: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Safe transportation coordinated for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Meet Tancho, an adorable 6-year-old Pug with a tender heart, an affectionate personality, and just a little bit of attitude that makes him uniquely lovable! Tancho is a very sweet, loving, and affectionate boy who enjoys companionship and has so much love to share with his future family. At six years old, he's a mature adult who is ready to enjoy the comforts of a forever home where he can feel safe, appreciated, and cherished. One of the wonderful things about Tancho is that he has experience living with other dogs, cats, and children. This makes him a promising companion for a variety of households, provided his individual needs and boundaries are respected. However, Tancho also has a spirited side! While he can live with other dogs, he can occasionally become feisty or confrontational toward larger breeds. His future family should understand this behavior and be prepared to manage interactions carefully. This doesn't take away from his loving personality. It simply means Tancho needs a family who will recognize his boundaries, supervise introductions, and help him feel comfortable around other dogs. About the Pug Breed Pugs are known for their affectionate personalities, charming expressions, loyalty, playful nature, and strong attachment to their families. Originally bred as companion dogs, Pugs often enjoy spending time close to their people and being included in everyday family activities. Tancho may share several typical breed characteristics: Affectionate and devoted: Pugs often form strong bonds with their families and enjoy regular attention. Friendly and social: Many enjoy interacting with people and participating in household activities. Playful and entertaining: Pugs are known for their amusing personalities and individual quirks. Adaptable: They can thrive in apartments or houses when their needs are met. Occasionally stubborn: Some Pugs have independent personalities and benefit from patient, consistent training. Moderate exercise needs: Short walks and gentle playtime are generally more appropriate than strenuous activity. Sensitive to heat: Their shortened muzzles make them especially vulnerable to overheating. Tancho's combination of affection, maturity, and spirited personality makes him a special little companion. His ideal family will appreciate his loving nature while understanding that he may need additional guidance and supervision around larger dogs. Tancho has a gentle heart, a loving spirit, and just enough sass to keep life interesting! Training, Adjustment & What to Expect At six years old, Tancho is a mature adult who will benefit from a predictable routine, positive reinforcement training, and a peaceful home environment. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so adopters should be prepared to continue working on house training if needed, leash manners, basic obedience, calm greetings, household boundaries, and appropriate socialization. Although Tancho is described as affectionate and loving, his occasional confrontational behavior toward larger dogs is an important consideration for his future family. Living With Other Dogs Tancho has experience living with other dogs, but he can sometimes become bravucón—feisty, challenging, or confrontational—when interacting with larger breeds. This behavior does not necessarily mean he cannot live with another dog. However, it does mean his future family should take introductions seriously and carefully evaluate compatibility. For Tancho, we recommend: Slow, supervised introductions to unfamiliar dogs. Extra caution around large breeds, especially dogs that are overly energetic or intrusive. Neutral meeting environments where dogs can become acquainted without feeling territorial. Positive reinforcement to reward calm behavior around other dogs. Respecting his personal space and avoiding forced interactions. Close supervision during shared activities, especially when food, toys, or resting spaces are involved. Professional training support if needed to help manage reactive or challenging interactions. Tancho may do especially well in a home with a compatible, respectful canine companion or as the only dog, where he can enjoy plenty of individual attention. His future family should understand that even a small dog can have strong opinions about other animals, and those boundaries deserve to be taken seriously. Living With Cats & Children Tancho has experience living with cats and children, which is a wonderful quality for a potential family companion. As with any dog, interactions with children should be supervised, and children should be taught to respect his space, avoid rough handling, and recognize when he needs a break. Introductions to new cats should also be gradual, even if he has previously lived successfully with them. Exercise & Daily Activities Tancho may enjoy: Short, comfortable daily walks during cooler weather. Gentle interactive games and supervised playtime. Positive reinforcement training with treats and praise. Puzzle toys and enrichment activities. Relaxing indoors and spending quality time with his family. A consistent routine that balances activity, rest, and affection. Because Pugs are a brachycephalic breed, Tancho should not be pushed into strenuous exercise, particularly during hot or humid weather. His family should monitor his breathing, energy level, and comfort during physical activity. The 3-3-3 Rule Every rescue dog needs time to adjust to a new environment. 3 Days: Time to decompress, observe his surroundings, and begin feeling safe. 3 Weeks: Time to understand his new household routine, build confidence, and become more comfortable. 3 Months: Time to strengthen his bond with his family, settle into daily life, and begin feeling truly at home. These are general guidelines rather than strict deadlines. Every dog adjusts at their own pace. Tancho deserves a family who will provide patience, reassurance, stability, and affection as he settles into his forever home. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Tancho is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, making him ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a loving family. His future adopters should continue providing routine veterinary care and preventive healthcare throughout his life. Important Pug Health Considerations Pugs are a brachycephalic breed, meaning they have shortened muzzles and can be prone to breathing difficulties and problems regulating body temperature. Responsible Pug ownership requires special attention to respiratory health, temperature regulation, weight management, and overall comfort. Tancho's future family should understand the following: Breathing and respiratory health: Pugs can be affected by brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS), which may cause noisy breathing, exercise intolerance, and respiratory distress. A veterinarian should evaluate Tancho's individual breathing and airway health. Heat sensitivity: Pugs are especially vulnerable to overheating. Tancho should live primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment and avoid prolonged outdoor activity during hot or humid weather. Weight management: Maintaining a healthy weight is particularly important because excess weight can worsen breathing difficulties and place additional stress on joints. Eye health: Pugs have prominent eyes that can be susceptible to irritation, dryness, and injury. Skin-fold care: Facial folds may require gentle cleaning and drying to prevent irritation or infection. Dental health: Pugs can experience dental crowding and periodontal disease, making regular dental care important. Joint health: Some Pugs may develop orthopedic concerns, including patellar luxation or hip-related problems. Age-appropriate wellness care: At six years old, Tancho will benefit from regular veterinary examinations to monitor his health as he continues into his mature adult years. These are potential breed-related health considerations and should not be interpreted as diagnosed conditions in Tancho. Daily Care & Owner Responsibilities Tancho will need: High-quality nutrition appropriate for his age, size, and activity level. Regular veterinary examinations and preventive healthcare. A cool, comfortable indoor environment to protect him from overheating. Gentle, age-appropriate exercise suited to his breathing and physical comfort. Routine dental care, grooming, facial-fold care, and nail maintenance. Consistent flea, tick, and parasite prevention as recommended by his veterinarian. A well-fitted harness to reduce unnecessary pressure on his neck during walks. Continued positive reinforcement training, especially when interacting with larger dogs. Careful supervision around unfamiliar animals to help prevent unnecessary confrontations. Plenty of companionship, affection, and a predictable daily routine. Because Pugs can have breed-specific medical needs, Tancho's future family should be financially prepared for routine care as well as the possibility of specialized veterinary treatment. Adopting Tancho is a lifelong commitment that includes providing proper nutrition, veterinary care, training, exercise, safety, companionship, and unconditional love. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Tancho, please complete an adoption application: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. Adopting Tancho means committing to his continued veterinary care, safety, comfort, training, companionship, and lifelong happiness. Tancho is a tender, affectionate little gentleman with a heart full of love and a personality all his own! At six years old, he's ready to find a family who will appreciate his sweet nature, enjoy his companionship, and understand his occasional feisty moments around larger dogs. He's already familiar with living alongside dogs, cats, and children, and with thoughtful introductions and a little patience, he has so much potential to become a wonderful family companion. Tancho doesn't need a perfect home—he needs a loving one where he'll feel safe, respected, and cherished. If you're searching for a sweet Pug with plenty of affection and just a touch of sass, Tancho might be the little best friend you've been waiting for! Meet Dizirella A Little Pug With a Big Heart and a Forever Home Waiting Breed: Pug Gender: Female | Age: 4 Years DOB: October 11, 2022  Weight: 7 kg / 15 lbs Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Kids ✔️ | Cats: Unknown Personality: Affectionate | Playful | Charming | Companion-Oriented (Typical Pug Traits) Medical: Spay: Unknown | Vaccinations: Up to date | Microchip: Not Provided Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Safe transportation coordinated for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Dizirella is an adorable 4-year-old Pug weighing approximately 15 pounds. With her charming little face and compact size, she's ready to find a family who will give her the love, comfort, and companionship every dog deserves. Pugs are often known for their affectionate, playful, outgoing, and people-loving personalities. They tend to form strong bonds with their families and enjoy being included in everyday activities. Whether it's relaxing on the couch, following their favorite person around the house, or enjoying a little playtime, Pugs often make wonderful companions. At four years old, Dizirella is a young adult who has moved beyond the early puppy stage while still having plenty of life ahead of her. She would benefit from a family that enjoys spending quality time with their dog and can provide gentle daily exercise, mental enrichment, positive-reinforcement training, and plenty of companionship. Because Pugs are a flat-faced breed, Dizirella will also need a family that understands the importance of protecting her from overheating and excessive physical exertion. With the right home, this little girl has the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful life filled with affection, security, and companionship. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like any rescue dog, Dizirella will need time to adjust to her new home, learn her family's routine, and become comfortable with her surroundings. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so adopters should be prepared to continue working on house manners as needed, leash walking, basic commands, recall, calm greetings, and household boundaries. Pugs can be clever and food-motivated, making positive-reinforcement training, patience, and consistency especially helpful. Short, enjoyable training sessions and a predictable daily routine can help Dizirella settle into her new home while strengthening her bond with her family. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 Days: Time to decompress and begin feeling safe. 3 Weeks: Time to understand her new household routine. 3 Months: Time to build trust, settle in, and begin feeling truly at home. These are guidelines rather than deadlines. Every rescue dog adjusts at their own pace. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Dizirella's spay, vaccination, and microchip status have not yet been confirmed. Her adopter should review her available medical records with a veterinarian and determine whether she needs vaccinations, spaying, microchipping, parasite prevention, or other routine veterinary care. As a Pug, Dizirella has some important breed-specific needs. Breathing & Heat Sensitivity: Pugs are brachycephalic, meaning their short facial structure can make breathing and temperature regulation more difficult. Dizirella should be kept cool, especially during warm weather, and should never be pushed into strenuous exercise. A veterinarian should assess her breathing and discuss any concerns. Healthy Weight: Maintaining a healthy body weight is particularly important for Pugs because excess weight can increase breathing difficulties and put additional strain on their joints. Skin, Eyes & Dental Care: Pugs may require additional attention to facial folds, eye health, and dental hygiene. Regular veterinary examinations can help identify and manage potential concerns. Her ongoing care should also include quality nutrition, gentle exercise, appropriate grooming, nail care, routine wellness examinations, and veterinary treatment whenever necessary. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Dizirella, please complete an adoption application: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. While based in Southern California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Our goal is to give every dog the best possible chance of finding the right family and a home where they will be loved and cared for throughout their life. Adopting Dizirella means committing to her training, veterinary care, breed-specific needs, safety, companionship, and happiness throughout her life. Dizirella may be small, but she has a whole lifetime of love and companionship to share. At four years old, she's ready for the comfort of a forever home, a family who understands her needs, and someone who will make her feel like the most important little Pug in the world. Every princess deserves her happily ever after—and Dizirella is waiting for hers. Add a clear adoption-ready opening summary November 2, 2026, 7:45 pm

Chorizo Quesadilla has something magical between his sparkle eyes and sweet smile that gets people every time. Add his soft, golden coat and he manages to capture everyone who meets his attention. He's a very cute little boy with a beautifully gentle, loving nature. Chorizo quesadilla is an itty-bitty boy who’s around 5 pounds right now, with a smooth coat in a beautiful shades of gold and caramel. We’re guessing he may be a Chihuahua/pug mix, though his breed is our best guess. Whatever went into making this little face, it worked. He is wonderful meeting new people and happily welcomes their affection. There’s no elaborate introduction needed—some sweet talk and a gentle hand are a lovely place to start. Before long, he will happily show you where the belly rubs go. His favorite place is in your lap and snuggling under your chin. At home, Chorizo settles in beautifully. He's quiet, enjoys being near his people, and is perfectly happy to accept a treat and find a cozy place to enjoy it. Watching a little dog contentedly work on his snack is surprisingly good entertainment, especially when the little dog is this cute. Chorizo is polite with other dogs and could happily share his home with a furry companion. He appreciates friends who like to run, play and cuddle! . He could happily Live with a dog his size or bigger! Chorizo also loves kids and is happily sharing his home with two young kids! Some little ladies walk into a room with elegance and grace. Penny Pugly Wugly prefers to arrive with a few adorable snorts, a wiggle in her step, and a face so ridiculously cute that you can't help but smile. She's a tiny entertainer with a big personality, and she doesn't even have to try to be funny. Being Penny is entertainment enough! Watch Penny Pugly Wugly in action! Penny is a delightful little sweetheart who finds joy in the simplest things. Sometimes that means chasing her own tail as if she's just discovered the world's greatest mystery. Other times, it's showing off her precious little pug face, complete with those irresistible expressions and signature snorts. She's full of those silly little moments that make having a dog so much fun. Life with Penny comes with plenty of smiles and a daily dose of adorable nonsense. And don't let her goofy side fool you. Penny is also a polite little lady who knows when to mind her manners! She's dog friendly, kid friendly, and even knows how to respectfully coexist with cats. Although, if you ask Penny, cats are rather suspicious creatures best admired from a very safe distance. During her time around the resident house cat, Penny made it perfectly clear that she had no interest in starting trouble. In fact, she preferred to avoid the cat altogether! There was no aggression, just a healthy respect for personal space and a little bit of uncertainty about what exactly that mysterious feline was up to. Penny's sweet nature and silly personality make her an absolutely lovely companion. She's the kind of dog who can turn an ordinary afternoon into something memorable simply by being herself. Whether she's spinning around after her tail, making her funny little noises, or looking up at you with that precious face, she has a special talent for making people happy. If your home could use a little extra laughter, a whole lot of cuteness, and a pint-sized sweetheart with impeccable cat-avoidance skills, Penny Pugly Wugly would love to meet you. She's ready to bring her snorts, wiggles, and lovable little antics into a home of her very own. Apply to adopt Penny Pugly Wugly: [Insert Animals First profile link] Questions?
