Story
Now Fostered in Bothell WA!! If happiness had a mascot, I’m pretty sure it would at the least resemble Koi. This boy is the definition of a peoples-dog, spreading wiggly affectionate and an enthusiasm for love everywhere he goes. To him, it is absolutely a thrill to be loved! The moment you start petting him, you can see him light up like it’s the best day of his life- tail wagging, body wiggling, whole-face smile.. Standing still for love is just not his style! Take a look at him in action- it's worth it- then come back to read more - https://youtu.be/_-aMxaMQHH4 Koi is estimated to be 1.5-year-old, he weighs 33-lbs and we suspect he is a pug mix but we cannot guarantee breed or birthday considering he is a rescue. Koi enjoys adventure and is an eager explorer who has basic leash skills and will polish to perfection with practice and the occasional gentle correction. He checks in often and is happy to deliver on your expectation. Dog-wise, Koi is a social and playful guy. No surprise right, you can just see it in him. We spent the afternoon introducing him to new dogs and watching him play and he was polite during on leash introduction, with a little excitement sneaking in here and there but it was all in a friendly nature. He loves a good playmate with matching energy- think medium-energy, fun-loving dogs who enjoy a mix of zooming around playing chase followed by extended chill-time. Koi’s ideal home will give him an outlet for his energy- walks, playdates, or backyard fun- and people who don’t mind his occasional joyful jumps or sneaky smooches (aka-face licks.) He’s a small package with a big-dog heart and a contagious joy for life. The perfect dog if you love hosting and have a dog-loving bunch of friends and family. He is friendly, outgoing, and greets new people with open paws and a full-body wiggle, so much so that people may want to come over just to hang out with him. He does jump up gently to give hugs so a family with slightly older kids who can handle his excitement would be perfect. This boy is going to be the sweetest sidekick and promises to help keep life fun. If the words compact bundle of sunshine or wiggly joy are on your list of must-have qualities for your dog, look no further Koi is your boy and his tail is already wagging for you! Story
Meet Rubi ❤️ Female DOB: 2/5/2026 Weight: 5 lbs and growing Breed: Pug / Black Mouth Cur Mix Spayed (Fixed) (age-appropriate / pending) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Rubi may be tiny now, but she already carries a big, loving personality that shines through in everything she does. At just two months old, she’s at the very beginning of her journey—curious, playful, and discovering the world one moment at a time. She’s the kind of puppy that instantly makes you smile, with her sweet nature and little bursts of energy. Personality Rubi is affectionate, playful, and full of life. She loves being close, soaking up attention, and exploring her surroundings. One moment she’s happily bouncing around, the next she’s curling up for comfort—she brings that perfect balance of puppy energy and softness. She is naturally people-oriented and will grow into a deeply loyal companion who wants to be part of everything you do. Breed Info As a Pug / Black Mouth Cur mix, Rubi has a unique and wonderful blend of traits: The Pug’s loving, affectionate, and people-focused personality The Black Mouth Cur’s intelligence, confidence, and strong bond with family This combination creates a dog who is loyal, expressive, and connected, while also being active and eager to learn. She will benefit from both affection and structure as she grows. Ideal Home Rubi needs a home ready for all the stages of puppyhood—training, patience, and lots of love. She will thrive with a family who wants an interactive, affectionate companion. Owner Responsibilities Rubi will need consistent training, socialization, routine, and care. Puppies require time, dedication, and guidance to grow into well-balanced dogs. Things to Consider Puppies are a long-term commitment. Please ensure your time, finances, and lifestyle allow for the care she will need as she grows. The 3-3-3 Rule Even at her young age, Rubi will need time to adjust: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, she will blossom into a wonderful companion. Story
We acquired Theo as a puppy, through a private homeowner. I think Theo is 5. I would like Theo to go to a caring home with people that have time to spend with him. Theo is funny. If you ask I him if he wants to go out he will go in circles. He will also go in circles before he comes back into the house. He likes to sleep. He likes to chew on the dog bones that you can buy at store. He likes to lay on blankets and cuddle.

Story
Cleo is the sweetest snuggle bug ever. 3.5 year old Pug mix that looks like a tea cup Mastiff. Great with potty outside if kept on a schedule/routine. Prefers no crate time and to prove it she is never naughty when left loose in the house. Good with other dogs and kids. Play time does need to be on her terms, she isn't gonna play all day, too lazy! Cats I would say require supervision. Cleo is very intimidated by new people and barks. She is very vocal when she feels insecure but never shown aggression. She just requires patience and calmness. She is on a medication to help her feel less stressed and is doing so good. Her dream home would be a calmer and quieter house, she doesn't want a house full of guests all the time, but tolerates gatherings of you must socialize. Open your home and heart to Cleo and you will have a permanent snuggle bug/lap warmer. APPLY AT WWW.HOPESHAVENFRIENDS.ORG
