Things to Consider: Pugs are a brachycephalic breed (short-nosed), which means they can be sensitive to heat and may snore or snort. Families should keep him cool in hot weather and always make his comfort a priority. 3-3-3 Rule: Rescue dogs need time to adjust! Expect about 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, and 3 months to fully settle in and feel at home. Jake will blossom with patience and love.
