Story
Toast is a 2-year-old pug with a huge personality packed into a small, wrinkly body. She is incredibly social and loves everyone she meets. If you’re looking for a dog that wants to be involved in everything you do, she is your girl.
She loves other dogs and would do great with a playful canine friend. She has been around cats and even chickens and completely ignores them — she’s way more interested in toys, zoomies, and her people.
She absolutely loves kids, but she can be a little mouthy when she gets excited and plays, so she would do best with older kids who can redirect playful dog behavior.
She is not fully potty trained yet, so her future family will need to be patient and consistent while she learns. The good news is she’s very smart and very food motivated.
Her favorite things include:
• Toys (all of them)
• Running zoomies around the yard
• Going for walks and staying active
• Sleeping in bed with her people
• Being extremely dramatic about waking up in the morning
She has a lot of energy for a pug and would do best with a family that will play with her, walk her, and keep her busy — followed by lots of couch snuggles, of course.
She’s funny, affectionate, dramatic, playful, and full of personality. If you want a dog that will make you laugh every single day and be your little shadow, she’s the one.
