Ferguson is a six-month-old Pug/Beagle mix weighing 16 pounds, and he is equal parts playful and affectionate. This sweet little guy loves nothing more than spending time with his people, whether he’s curled up beside you for cuddles or entertaining himself with his favorite toys. Ferguson has a playful personality and especially enjoys wrestling and playing with his brother. He is smart, food-motivated, and already knows how to sit for treats. He’s also doggy door trained, making the transition into his new home even easier. Ferguson and his brother were found as strays in a small South Texas town, but those difficult days are behind him. Now he’s looking for a family that will give him the love, security, and forever home he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily play by day and snuggle by night, Ferguson may be the perfect addition to your family. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $200. This includes his neuter surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar.
