Story
Zoom, zoom, zoom… Right into your home! This little Zoomer will waste no time in being your new bestie. Wait, nevermind. He might run a couple laps around you first! Zoomer is a hilarious Brussels Griffon Mix hailing from Maddie’s Dog Rescue in Uvalde County. With his ewok-adjacent good looks and spunky demeanor, we are at a loss as to how he wound up in the hands of a rescue group. If we know one thing, it’s that he won’t be homeless for long. Zoomer is only 14 weeks old, making him the prime age to learn your house rules. He looks like your classic designer dog, but his personality is even better! Brussels Griffons are known for their affection and funny antics, though they can be sensitive or stubborn. With this in mind, Zoomer will need an owner who can offer him structure as he grows into adulthood! Zoomer may also be sensitive to hot, humid weather with his short snout and thick fur. It’s important to keep him cool and cared for during our spicy summers here in Texas. Think you can catch this handsome heart-muncher? Apply to meet Zoomer today!

Story
Ernie is a sweet cuddly guy. He is very well behaved but loves to eat. He does not have any bad behavior traits. He has never chewed on clothes or shoes, never destroyed property, and never showed aggressive behavior or bitten anyone. He does great around children and babies. He is potty trained and knows some commands like "sit", "wait", "paw", "lay down", "come", etc. He is a really good dog and deserves a family that will love him and take good care of him. He is so loving, friendly, and energetic he just needs someone that has time for him.

Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Meet Ferguson! Ferguson is a six-month-old Pug/Beagle mix weighing 16 pounds, and he is equal parts playful and affectionate. This sweet little guy loves nothing more than spending time with his people, whether he’s curled up beside you for cuddles or entertaining himself with his favorite toys. Ferguson has a playful personality and especially enjoys wrestling and playing with his brother. He is smart, food-motivated, and already knows how to sit for treats. He’s also doggy door trained, making the transition into his new home even easier. Ferguson and his brother were found as strays in a small South Texas town, but those difficult days are behind him. Now he’s looking for a family that will give him the love, security, and forever home he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily play by day and snuggle by night, Ferguson may be the perfect addition to your family. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for his entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. His adoption fee is $200.
