Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.PUDDIN' and her mother PEACHES are 2 pugs that were dumped early one morning at a local car dealership.  Luckily there were some employees who are dog lovers and took them in for a little while until I was able to pick them up. As usually we look for the flaws in a dog if it was intentionally dumped but very few times do we find any.  That certainly is the case with PUDDIN' & PEACHES, there is absolutely nothing wrong with them.  Each of them is very happy, PEACHES is the more social butterful and PUDDIN' is more reserved.  They love each other and love to be with each other although they do play and interact with the other foster dogs in the home. PUDDIN' is 9 months old and 14 pounds.  PEACHES is 3 years old and 13 pounds.  They both like to cuddle and get head rubs but PUDDIN' lays on her back to get a belly rub.  PUDDIN' is also the one with the slight underbite that makes her look just that more special. PEACHES & PUDDIN' do not need to be adopted together but they would be very happy dogs to have another dog in the home to play and cuddle with. They already walk well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick.  And on the plus side they are not yeppers, no barking or whining, just running around playing and kind of submissive.  I would love for them to be adopted together but to separate them there would have to be another playful dog already in the home that is interested in one of them.  Neither of them would do well as an only dog. Their activity level is normal, nothing hyper but they do love to run around the backyard playing with each other and toys. If you are interested in adopting PEACHES and/or PUDDIN', please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you for your interest. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         August 21, 2025, 10:06 am

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT 🚀💛 Meet Rocket Man — Small Dog, Big Heart, Maximum Cuteness 💛🚀 Male • 3 Years Old • ~15 lbs • Pug/Chihuahua Mix Rocket Man may be a compact little guy at just 15 pounds, but his story — and his heart — are anything but small. When Rocket first arrived, he was so scared he wouldn’t even let anyone touch him. But with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of quiet encouragement, he slowly discovered that people can actually be pretty wonderful. Watching him blossom has been nothing short of amazing. Now this sweet boy has turned into a loving, affectionate little companion who enjoys laying beside you — or even better, right on top of you if you'll allow it. He’ll happily give kisses, accept kisses in return, and soak up every bit of love you’re willing to share. Rocket is still a sensitive soul, though. Quick movements or unfamiliar situations can make him a little nervous, and he’s still working on one big hurdle: being picked up. It’s something he’s learning slowly, and he’ll need a patient family willing to keep building his confidence at his own pace. Where Rocket truly shines is with other dogs. He absolutely adores them and will need a friendly canine sibling in his forever home to help him feel safe and secure. He forms strong bonds with his doggy friends — playing, cuddling, curling up for naps, and even giving them little “spa treatments” by licking their faces while they return the favor. To Rocket, dog friends are the best security blanket there is. He’s also very treat motivated. Say the magic words “Are you ready?” and you’ll see a tiny rocket launch straight toward you for his treat. And then there’s the adorable Rocket Man face — because this boy has the cutest little underbite. Sometimes his lips get adorably stuck on his teeth (which is honestly comedy gold), and when he’s napping you’ll often catch the tiniest tip of his tongue peeking out. It’s the kind of face that makes you laugh without even trying. 🐾 Rocket Man’s Highlights: • 3 years old • ~15 lbs (small but sturdy) • Sweet, affectionate, and loving once he trusts you • Loves laying beside you or right on top of you • Very playful and social with other dogs • Must have a friendly canine sibling • Great with cats • Good with respectful older kids who understand giving him space • Housetrained and knows how to use a doggie door • Treat motivated (snacks = instant motivation) • Famous for his adorable underbite, stuck lips, and sleepy “blep” tongue Rocket would do best in a quieter home — maybe with a retired person, someone who works from home, or a family that simply enjoys a calm environment. He thrives when life is predictable and gentle. And every day when you come home? Rocket will be the first one there to greet you, tail wagging, happy to see his favorite person again. This little guy has already come so far. Now he just needs a forever family willing to give him the love, patience, and security he deserves. And once you earn Rocket Man’s trust… you’ll have a professional cuddle buddy, and part-time comedy act for life. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Rocket Man the forever home he’s been working so hard to find. 🐾💛
