Story
Meet Piñata — a tiny bundle of sweetness just waiting to be discovered! Like her name, Piñata is full of hidden treasures. At first, she may be a little shy and take some time to open up, but with a bit of patience and kindness, her true nature begins to shine through. And when it does, you’ll see just how incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving she really is. Piñata is the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds. Once she trusts you, she’ll be your loyal companion, always happy to be by your side and soak up your affection. She’s gentle, tender-hearted, and has so much love to give to someone. Right now, Piñata is also expecting puppies. She’ll need time to safely welcome and care for her babies, and will be ready to head to her fur-ever home about 6 weeks after giving birth. In the meantime, she’s looking for someone who’s willing to wait for a truly special companion. If you’re looking for a dog with a soft spirit and a heart full of love, Piñata might just be your perfect match. Apply to adopt! Watch my video!

Please contact JoEllen (sagdinfo@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/       ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process.  Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ ** Meet Raspberry — a darling 3-year-old Pug with a sweet personality and an easygoing charm that makes her impossible not to love. This adorable girl is the kind of companion who fits in just about anywhere and wins hearts everywhere she goes. Raspberry gets along great with everything she meets and has a calm, friendly nature that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s hanging out at home, making new friends, or simply enjoying a cozy nap nearby, Raspberry is happy to be part of the fun. She is house trained and knows how to use the dog door, so she’s already got the important basics covered. Raspberry did test light heartworm positive, and she is currently on the slow-kill protocol. Everything needed to complete her treatment will be provided, making it easy for her adopter to continue her care. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key, and absolutely adorable companion, Raspberry may be the perfect little match for you! Raspberry has been diagnosed with heartworm infection.  Dogs acquire heartworm infections when they are bitten by a mosquito that was infected with heartworm larvae. Dogs with heartworm infection live happy, high-quality lives as long as they are given appropriate care. Heartworm infection is relatively common in the United States so we are in need of caring adopters like you that are willing to open their home to a dog with heartworm infection. We think that our heartworm dogs have just as much to offer their new adopters as any other dog and they deserve a chance at life. Adopters will receive all the necessary medications needed to complete the heartworm treatment protocol. Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.) You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org. Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232.  Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com. ** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Story
Gouda is a playful puppy Like all pups his age, he is curious, friendly, and full of joy! He was rescued with his sibling and mom from a house that had too many animals....and now he is safe and ready for a forever home.

He loves to explore, play with toys, and snuggle in your arms. In true Pug fashion, he’s clever and eager to learn. He would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of playtime, attention, and love. Gouda tested negative for Chagas but he is too young to be tested for heartworm. Heartworm testing is routinely done around 7-8 months old. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate). Puppies are tested for Chagas at 16-20 weeks and Heartworm at 7-8 months. • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed and age listings are our best guess, based on appearance.
