Freckles is the life of the party and a pug mixed with??? Whatever she is a mix of, it works. She is playful, affectionate and like a little windup toy. Freckles is 3 months old and currently weighs in at 7 pounds. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). How do you get any cuter!!! All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Made For Your Lap Kira is a 4 year old, petite, affectionate pug who is ready to trade motherhood for the pampered life she deserves. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and incredibly easygoing. Her foster mom calls her the easiest foster she’s ever had! Kira loves smaller dogs, does well with other pups, and absolutely adores people ...especially when she can be the center of attention. She’s a deep sleeper (yes, she snores!), loves toys twice her size, and thinks meal time is the best time of day. She doesn’t require much exercise and would be happiest with someone home most of the time, ideally a retired person who truly wants a loving pug companion. If you want a loyal little shadow who prefers laps over laps around the block, Kira is your girl. Meet Kira! Kira is 12lbs of pugaliciousness - squishy, sweet and snorty. So far, favorite activities include spinning and snoring.

Five-year-old Tic Tac is a charming, fawn winky pug with a heart as big as his bark! While he can be a little cautious at first, once he warms up, this Velcro pug loves nothing more than cuddling up next to his favorite person and showering them with kisses. Tic Tac enjoys toys, puzzle games, and snuffle mats—and occasionally shows off his silly side by proudly parading around with socks or shoes he’s “borrowed.” He is about 90% house-trained, crate-trained (though he’s not a fan of it), and walks well on a leash—just be sure his harness is snug because he’s been known to wiggle out when something’s caught his interest! Tic Tac gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, but he’d prefer a home with a canine buddy and patient humans who understand he sees the world a little differently due to limited vision. She is the definition of “go-with-the-flow” — gentle, easygoing, and always ready for a good cuddle or a leisurely stroll. Peggy is house-trained, crate-trained, and uses a dog door like a pro. She’s polite at mealtime and not food aggressive, though she’ll happily supervise if someone else is getting a treat. She enjoys toys most when another pup shows interest — she’s a bit of a playful copycat! Peggy also gets along wonderfully with children, especially her foster’s young niece. She takes tacrolimus eye drops twice a day and moisture drops as needed, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit.
