Story
Meet Pugarella! Pugarella is a smaller gal weighing in at less than 10lbs. But don’t let her short stature fool you: this girl has tons of personality and energy. Her favorite thing in the word is play time and she’d be happiest in home with another playful dog to keep her entertained. When she’s not playing, she’s a curious lady who loves to investigate and jump up on your lap for pets. She does well in her crate and has made significant progress in her potty training. If she’s let out on a regular basis, she can easily be accident free inside the house. Because she’s so jolly, gentle and playful, she would be fine in a home with humans of all ages includes kids. Another playful dog in the home would be essential for her as well because she absolutely loves playing with other dogs. A few adorables about her: she wags her curly pug tail in the tiniest, fastest wiggles, she has the softest fur and is super gentle.

Story
Meet OJ! This tall, 40-pound bundle of joy might be part pug, part Aussie, and all personality. OJ is full of energy, loves his toys, and takes his job of protecting the yard from bunnies, squirrels, birds, and rogue leaves very seriously. He’s a zoomie pro—indoors and out—and would thrive with another playful dog (but no cats, please… he's way too interested in them!). OJ likes it when meals are served on opposite sides of the room from his fur siblings. He’s kennel trained but much prefers snoozing on the bed with his human—just be ready for a bit of snoring. He walks fairly well on a leash but pulls with enthusiasm to explore the world. He’s great with the 3-year-old granddaughter in his foster home, who understands how to respect dogs. That said, due to his excitement and tendency to zoom right past little ones, a home with dog-savvy kids and no fragile seniors would be best—he’s got some strong “accidental linebacker” energy when he jumps to say hi. OJ is a sweet boy learning better manners every day. With continued structure and love, he’ll be an awesome companion for an active household.     ##2353867##

Story
Crosby is being fostered in PA. Crosby is an adorable, blind, male puppy who was born on January 25, 2025. He is a pug and may be a mix but we are not sure. He is a sweet but mischievous, curious little guy who loves to play hard, eat and nap hard. Crosby enjoys the other dogs in his foster home but is a bit much with them so he does not get to spend a lot of time with them just yet. He gets overly excited when getting attention from people and when other dogs are close by and can be playfully nippy, untying shoes and clinging onto pant legs with his teeth. After a few minutes and redirecting his puppy nips, he will calm down to simply sit beside his person. Crosby can go up stairs very well but has no idea about how to come back down just yet. Crosby should not be in a home with very young children, as his puppy play still needs to be redirected to nipping on toys and not hands, hair, etc. Crosby will be having his right eye removed on May 23rd and will be ready to find his adoptive home as soon as he recovers from that surgery. Crosby will need work on potty training but currently does well traveling in a crate and has never soiled in it so this is a good start to his training. Crosby will need a patient family to help him learn proper play skills and to help him with potty training. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
I have 2 pugs Russell and Milo from the same litter. They are house trained and very sweet. They have been together since birth so I would like someone who would like to adopt them both. They are playful and cuddly and perfect nap partners. I am unable to give them the attention they deserve because of my busy work schedule. They were born on February 2nd 2019 and are 6 years old.
