Peggy navigates her foster home with ease and enjoys spending time with people, other dogs, and cats. Her favorite activities include following her people around the house, playing and cuddling with other dogs, chasing balls, chewing on toys, and going for walks. When it’s time to recharge, she snoozes soundly in her crate and snores loudly. She is housetrained, can use a doggie door, and eats her meals politely. Peggy requires daily eye drops to keep her peepers feeling fresh. Her ideal forever family will provide her with plenty of companionship from people and other dogs, and create a safe environment with her visual impairment in mind. If you’re inspired by bold, fearless, loving, and loyal ladies, Peggy might be your perfect match! Apply for her at dfwpugs.com.

Story
fter spending most of her life outside in Mexico and having her medical needs neglected, five-year-old Harper is now showing her cuddly, affectionate, and silly side! Her former medical issues, including pelvic fractures and a hernia, have now healed and she is enjoying a more active lifestyle. Harper’s favorite activities include playing with her blankets and bedding, snuggling with her stuffed elephant, following her foster mom and foster pug siblings around the house, running and jumping, chasing small wildlife in the yard, going for walks, and sleeping in bed with her foster mom at night. She is making great progress with her housetraining and crate training. With her challenging former life in mind, Harper’s forever family will provide her with love, care, and reassurance, help her build her confidence, and understand that she gets skittish around loud noises. Having another friendly and confident dog in the home may help her to come out of her shell and adapt to her new life. If you’d like to give this loving girl a fresh start, apply for her at dfwpugs.com!

Story
One-year-old Ezekiel, affectionately known as “Zeke” to his foster family, is an active and fun-loving boy! Ezekiel’s favorite activities include following his people from room to room, chewing on bones and toys, playing, and going for walks. He prefers the company of people (rather than other dogs), and is especially affectionate and playful with children. Ezekiel’s foster family has been working on his manners training, and are excited to report that he is mostly housetrained and will go into his crate if given a treat. His ideal forever family will ensure he gets plenty of exercise, continue with his training, and enjoy playing with him. Although he tolerates other dogs, he seems to prefer to be the center of attention and would probably do best in a home where he is the only dog. If you’d like to make Ezekiel your permanent plus-one, apply for him at dfwpugs.com!
