He is super sweet he just needs time to warm up to you. He is doing great in his foster home with another young pug to play with and does not bother the cat. Louis loves to be with his human, you will never be alone with a great pug like him. He has allergies but is doing well on a limited diet and Zyrtec. Enjoys laying on the couch as much as he does playing.  He also enjoys running in the yard. He will do best with someone that is home with him. Louis is neutered, microchipped, up to date on routine shots and heartworm negative.  He is fostered in Greensboro, NC and his adoption fee is $450.00. Clearly loved at some point. Housetrained. Polite. And somehow… never reclaimed.Which is baffling. So now he's ours, ready to be yours!But what is Cheeto???We’re crowdsourcing the mystery. Our best guess is a pug mix, based on his temperament and general vibe. Possibly pug and teddy bear. Possibly pug and tiny monkey. Possibly pug and weighted blanket that believes personal space is a myth.Cheeto doesn’t come with a backstory, but he does come with a very solid personality and an impressive cuddle résumé.Come meet him. Tell us what you think he is. Fall a little in love while you’re at it.Cheeto would love to impress and baffle you at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, VA. Story
Bowie is a 1 year old neutered, microchipped, and fully vetted Beabull (3/4 English Bulldog and 1/4 Beagle). He is housebroken and crate trained. Brindle with beautiful two-toned eyes. He is an absolute sweet heart and craves attention-- but he is not interested in sharing attention with other dogs. He must be in a home without other dogs or with an extremely experienced dog owner. He acts like he plays well with other dogs, and sometimes plays nicely for days, but then attacks our other dogs seemingly for no reason. He also has a big prey drive, so we would not recommend any cats or other small animals in the home. He would literally be the perfect dog for someone who wants a best, best friend. He wants to be in your lap or at your side at all times. His favorite thing to do is to hang out with his Daddy. This breaks our heart to rehome him, but it is not fair to our other 3 dogs in the home who don't know if they can play with him or even walk past him without being attacked.
