Story
Meet Stormy a female spayed, 10 month old Pug/Malinois mix. Yes you did read that correctly pug and malinios mix. While Stormy is a mix of two very different breeds we are asking her future family have experience with high energy canines and not be first time adopters. She has also undergone FHO surgery and her family will need to make sure they are able to come to our clinic for further physical therapy or can follow up with a recommended clinic. Stormy had her FHO on 1/7/26 and was in foster during this time for her recovery. Her foster found that she loved cream cheese and some good snuggles. Her foster also instructed that little Stormy will need sturdy toys in her future home as she really likes to pull the squeaker out of soft ones. So supervised times with toys will be important in her future home. While it may be scary adopting a canine with some medical issues our vets are confident this should not hinder Stormy in anyway. She will need continued physical therapy which most of which can be done in the home after meeting and discussing with her surgeon. This will be scheduled once her adoption has been completed. We will also require children 6 and up and if you have any canines in the home they will need to do a dog to dog introduction prior to adoption as well. If you would like to meet with this unique and special girl please speak with our kennel team and they will be happy to help!
