She has an upper respiratory infection or early pneumonia, and bilateral ear infections. We are concentrating on making her well. Its hard to learn their personality with they come in sick. Ava was bulled in her last home so she fearful of other dogs. She would be best as an only dog or a home with an older dog her size that will give her space.  Ava will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on routine shots, heartworm negative and current on prevention prior to adoption. Fostered in Virginia Beach, VA adoption fee is $300.00  Pugs most be indoor dogs. I'm a busy guy with lots of things to do and see. Up until now I've lived my life in a yard so I don't have very good manners according to my foster mom. She says I'm sweet and very friendly but I have a lot to learn like walking better on this thing she calls a leash and always going potty outside. I am smart and learning fast. I am beginning to like this crate thing better. I sleep through the night in there without a fuss. I will need another dog that likes to play because I'm just a puppy with lots of puppy energy. Foster mom mom also said to let you know I'm probably way too much for those furry things she calls cats and young children.  Must have a fenced yard for playtime and potty. Must have someone that can house train and devote to training.. I am a 15 plus year commitment. I do play bite, I am a puppy that you must train. Puppy experience preferred. Please do not call or email asking if I am available. You need to put in your adoption application on our website  and the foster home will those the best match! We will mark him as adoption pending once we are no longer looking at applications for him. He needs someone who can take better care of him since both my spouse and I work night shifts, and we’re moving soon so we won’t be able to take him with us. He just turned 7 years old this month. My baby is very sweet, energetic, and friendly with both people and other dogs. He knows how to sit, and when you give him treats and say “wait,” he will patiently listen he’s very smart. His favorite treats are Milk-Bone Original snacks.We really don’t want to have him adopted, but we know it would be harder for him to be left without anyone to keep him company.
