Story
Skye is a almost 2 year old Chug, she is loving and cute, playful, loves little kids. She loves to be outside and friendly to everyone. She needs someone to be with her all day, and she will just sleep by you. But she will chew up stuff on the ground, toys, slippers, etc. She is still trainable with that. I can't give her the care and attention she needs and she wanders around my neighborhood when she gets loose. I hope she can go to a good home to someone who needs her as much as she needs them.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit, a handsome young pug with an adventurous streak and a heart full of love! Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly companion who promises to keep you entertained and loved, Bandit is eagerly waiting to steal your heart! You can apply for Bandit at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 17, 2025, 3:05 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Midge! Midge is a 2-year-old, 11 lb Pug who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. She’s a true mini pug with a huge personality packed into her tiny frame! Spunky, goofy, quirky, and endlessly entertaining ~ Midge is the kind of dog who keeps you smiling! She’s an outgoing little oddball in the best way and absolutely full of charm. Whether she’s trotting along on a walk, bouncing around with dog friends, or cuddled up in your arms, she’s happiest when she’s with her people. Midge is very sweet and affectionate and loves to be held and doted on by her person. She’s also great with other dogs and great with people, making her an easy and joyful companion. Playful and social, she enjoys getting out for walks and little adventures but is just as content soaking up attention and cuddles at home. Because Midge is a flat-faced breed, she will do best in a home with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed experience or adopters who understand her specific needs, including monitoring exercise, temperature, and overall health. If you’ve been dreaming of a tiny pug with a big heart and a hilarious personality, Midge might just be your perfect match. She’s ready to be someone’s constant companion and bring a whole lot of love (and laughs) into her forever home. Midge is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Hardy! Hardy is a 4-year-old, 18 lb Pug who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter, and he is every bit the classic, lovable pug you could hope for! Sweet, goofy, and endlessly charming, Hardy has a big personality packed into a small, squishy body. He loves being carried, soaking up attention from his people, and showing off his silly side. He’s bouncy, playful, and always ready to make you laugh ~ truly your typical happy, goofy pug! Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. Story
Hi, my name is Chachita. I am a calm, sleepy, and very loving older dog who enjoys being close to my person. I like to follow you around the house, nap in cozy spots, and play a little before bedtime. I would love a home where I am treated like the queen of the house, with space to walk comfortably, and someone who is patient and understands that I am a senior dog. When I was found, I was on the sidewalk, covered in flies, surrounded by bigger dogs trying to mount me. I had a skin fungus and severe conjunctivitis, and I could barely see. I am much better now, but I still need daily eye cleaning and drops, as well as dental care and soft food to help with my mouth.I am gentle, grateful, and ready to spend my golden years with someone who will love me every day. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Cadillac is a pug puppy. She has a lot of energy, likes to lick, is playful, adapts really quickly if you have other dogs, making progress on potty training. She sleeps through the night and has her own bed. She goes outside the front door in the grass specially in the mornings when waking up and after each meal in the hopes that she’ll learn to potty outside. She has normal pup behavior. She’s good with other dogs and with children. She is food motivated. She is a good addition to the household, and pugs required a lot of love.
-----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
