Pedro’s life changed through no fault of his own when his family was deported back to Mexico, leaving him in need of a new place to call home. It’s heartbreaking when circumstances beyond anyone’s control separate a family, and now this sweet boy is hoping for a second chance with a family who will love him forever. Pedro is a fun, happy, loving, and gentle boy who has so much affection to give. He loves sharing hugs and kisses with his people, lounging around and enjoying the simple things in life, or heading out for a nice walk. He isn’t an overly active guy, so he would be happy with a more relaxed lifestyle, but don’t let that fool you! Pedro still has a playful side and knows how to have a good time. He gets along well with other dogs. We are unsure how he is with cats. Potty training is also something that may need to recorrect on, as he came in unaltered and unsure of his marking in home. Pedro is the kind of dog who would love to be part of your everyday life, whether that means joining you for a leisurely stroll, relaxing beside you on the couch, or giving you sweet hugs and kisses after a long day. He doesn’t ask for much, just a safe home, a loving family, and someone who will never give up on him. Pedro is neutered, 4DX negative, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Through no fault of his own, he found himself owner surrendered to a shelter, but he's ready to leave that chapter behind and find the forever family he deserves. He lives with 2 other small dogs.We're not sure about his background but there's been a lot first for him. He's not navigated stairs but has learned quickly with treats. He's wasn't super familiar for car rides but he's good now. Not sure about sleeping in dog beds but he's learning that a good thing too. California stray. Perhaps a breeding dog.Hardy is great with other dogs and great with people, making him an easy addition to a social household. He’s also treat-motivated, which makes him eager to engage and easy to work with. He's a terrific walker on a leash and enjoys sniffing and peeing on trees!Because Hardy is a flat-faced breed, he will do best in a home with brachycephalic (flat-faced) breed experience or adopters who understand his specific needs, including monitoring exercise, temperature, and overall health. Hardy is very classically pug with can snore and sneeze when he gets excited. He has big eye typical of pugs. Hardy's personality is very typical for a pug. He likes to follow you around the house and wants to sit next you. He does fine when folks have to leave the home but he likes to know where you are when you are home.Hardy's loves to hug and gives excellent kisses. HIs favorite activity is to ram you with his big meaty head and rub his face all over you. He's very curious so you'll have to be careful where you leave things. He's been known to open cabinets and pull down grocery bags. Hardy's new family should want a dog that want primary attention from people. He's not super interested in playing with other dogs but is super chill with others if you want add a cuddle dog to your pack. Pugs are lovers, not fighters. Hardy has a good night time routine and sleeps well in his kennel. We're working on potty-training and he's got the hang of going out every 4-6 hours. Animal Information: Bug is just an itty bitty "pug mix" that found herself in need of rescue. Who were we to say no? We are confident that little mug will get a lot of attention, and can't wait to meet her! Foster Profile: Bug was named by my kids, and it turned out to be the perfect fit! She may be tiny (2lbs right now!), but she’s absolutely full of spunk. Bug loves chasing her furry foster siblings around, even though they’re all significantly larger than she is. Her favorite companion is our Doberman, and it’s hilarious watching her run as fast as her little legs will carry her just to keep up with him as he casually walks across the lawn. Bug is doing excellent with both crate and potty training. As a small-breed dog, potty training will likely be her biggest challenge, which is understandable when your bladder is about the size of a grape. She’s making great progress, though, and with frequent potty breaks, she’s primarily doing her business outside in the yard. She can hold it for up to six hours overnight, so a home with easy access to a convenient potty area would be ideal. Bug loves playing with my children and is friendly with our cat, too. With her playful personality, tiny size, and big-dog confidence, she’s sure to make a wonderful pocket-sized companion for one very lucky family! Meet Belle! Belle is a sweet 3-year-old girl who came to us from a California shelter and is settling into foster care beautifully. She's a quiet, easygoing little lady who appreciates the simple comforts of life, like a cozy bed, her kennel, a good meal, and fresh water. Belle is doing wonderfully with potty training, with just one little accident on her first day in foster care!
