Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi!! I’m Petey! I’m an adorable pug/Dachshund mix, and I made my way here after a stay at Bandera Animal Control—but honestly, I’m just focused on the good stuff now… like PLAYTIME. I’ve got a big personality packed into a little body, and I’m full of energy and fun. I LOVE to play. Toys? Yes, please—all of them. I’ll chase them, toss them, and keep myself (and you) entertained. I’ve always got a little bounce in my step, and I’m happiest when I’m running around or right in the middle of whatever you’re doing. I’m super friendly and love everyone I meet, so making new friends is kind of my thing. I do get excited (okay, really excited), and I might bark to let you know just how happy I am—but that’s just me being me! Life is exciting, and I’m here for it. After I’ve burned off some energy, I’m more than happy to hang out and soak up attention. I just love being part of the action. I might need a little help with potty training at first, but I’m a smart guy and with some patience and consistency, I’ll get the hang of it in no time. My adoption fee is $400. If you want to take me home, apply at www.adoggie4you.org. I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast. If I need a ride to you, there’s an additional $225 transport fee. I can’t go to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state rules.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 16, 2026, 4:30 pm

**If you`re interested in meeting, please fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet and we will be in touch to schedule an appointment**Meet Mia! This adorable 8-month-old female Chug (Chihuahua/Pug mix) is a tiny bundle of enthusiasm and love. Mia has lived with children and done wonderfully; she’s gentle, playful, and always excited to be part of the family fun.She hasn’t lived with other animals before, so slow introductions would be best if you have resident pets. Mia is still working on her housetraining, but she’s a smart girl who just needs consistency and patience. She’s also spent a lot of time in a crate in her past and doesn’t enjoy being confined for long periods, so a home where she can stretch her legs and stay involved would be ideal.Mia is a super active, friendly pup who adores people and is always ready for adventure. If you’re looking for a spirited companion with a huge heart and an even bigger zest for life, Mia may be the perfect fit!City of Everett residents will be required to purchase a $30 pet license at the time of adoption.

Story
Lola is the equivalent of a clown cars trunk, full of the fun stuff! Take cartoonish features, add four squeaky toys, a bouncy ball, at least one crinkle toy, and a pogo stick… and somehow turn it into a 20 lb dog. That is Lola! She is estimated to be around a year old and looks very much like a pug/boxer mix, though rescue rules absolutely apply and we cannot guarantee either. What we can guarantee is that Lola arrives preloaded with comedy, athleticism, and a level of enthusiasm that rivals a sugared up kid about to get on their first carnival ride. Go watch Lola on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this zoomie-powered party goblin. https://youtu.be/Lmiv_G04_1w Lola is wildly entertaining and genuinely a very happy dog. She loves fetch with her whole entire being, though we would currently rank her return skills at approximately 97% mastery because once she gets the toy, she can easily forget who threw it and occasionally what the next step is to get someone to throw it again. She absolutely thrives with playful dogs that enjoy chase games, wrestling, and rough-and-tumble antics. She is an absolute toy lover, easily self-entertains, and wakes up every day ready to turn life into recess. Lola would likely thrive with someone who genuinely enjoys training and wants an active sidekick to pour into. Think adventure buddy, hiking pal, training class enthusiast, enrichment queen, “let’s work your brain and body” kind of home. She is the kind of dog that will be incredibly rewarding in the right hands. She handles environmental stressors well, recovers quickly, and remains social and confident with people always. She is loving, goofy, resilient, and very game for whatever comes next. Lola’s dream home includes an equally playful dog who enjoys chase, shares toys, and enjoys the occasional playful wrestling match. This dream home will be cat-free and she would like to pass on apartment living, the girl wants room to run! More than one playmate is welcome as long as they are sturdy, playful dogs over 25 lbs that enjoy physical play, have good tolerance levels, and know how to take breaks. Because Lola is young and driven she will benefit from a structured home committed to helping her learn how to “dog-well.” She is learning how to settle in the home and will need encouragement to slow her busy brain down in exciting environments. The encouraging part is that she responds well to guidance and is very responsive to appropriate corrections. We love Lola! From her mini-boxer look to that pug-like tail, she is one-of-a-kind gal ready and waiting for her forever! Ready to make the first move? Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Meet Pierre! Pierre is a 9-year-old sweetheart who joined Evergreen Pug Rescue after his family faced the difficult decision to surrender him when they had to move and couldn't take him along. It was a heartbreaking choice, and we're honored they've trusted us to help him find the loving home he deserves for his golden years. We're still getting to know Pierre, but he has already made a wonderful impression. He loves to snuggle and is perfectly content sleeping in his crate, although we suspect he'd much rather have a soft bed nearby. He has incredibly soft fur, is very food motivated, and enjoys running, playing, and chasing the other dogs. Despite being a senior, he keeps right up with the rest of the pack. Pierre is also working on his potty training and making good progress. He's already been neutered and has received his vaccines, heartworm test, and a full veterinary exam, so he'll be ready to start his next chapter soon. We can't wait to see this sweet boy find a home where he can enjoy all the comforts of retirement, surrounded by love and companionship. Pierre is being fostered in Washington State. To learn more about him or apply to adopt, visit Evergreen Pug Rescue. Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!
