Meet Bruno! This young pup came to us a few weeks ago. He was found in a rural area and was clearly in distress. It appeared he had sustained a head injury, possibly from being hit by a car, or possible from abuse. It is hard to tell. He has been recovering in his foster home and is doing very well. He is an outgoing and sweet little boy. He loves other dogs and all humans though he can be a little hand shy at times. He loves playing in the yard outside and chewing on his toys. He is so much fun. He is a little more wary of men and seems to prefer women but he is easily won over with a bit of patience.  Bruno is generally in good health but his injury has left him with minor neurological damage. His depth perception is not 100%, likely because one side of his brain sustained the injury and cause damage to his eye. He can see but the eye is turned outwards a little bit. He can sometimes turn in a circle, or walk backwards, as if to get his bearings. Overall he is just delightful and his mild impairment just makes him more endearing. Bruno is vaccinated and microchipped. He will be neutered at our cost between 8-12 months of age. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Chirpy isn't noisy at all! He is a great little walker and does ok with other dogs. He has spent time hanging out with staff in their offices and enjoys himself but would rather be out and about exploring. Chirpy is just the right size to go everywhere with you!Meet him daily except Monday and Friday from 1pm to 5pm.

Meet Shiner (red collar). He is about 12 weeks old and a beagle/pug mix. He's a small boy weighing in at 4 whole pounds! Shiner is a love bug! Always ready to give affection! He loves to be held and loved on, but also loves playing outside! He loves bringing back toys so you throw it again! He loves all the toys, especially the ones far too big for his body. Shiner is learning to potty outside and doing fairly well considering he's only been in our home a week!

Meet BlueBell (blue collar). She is about 12 weeks old and a beagle/pug mix. She's a small girl weighing in at 4 whole pounds! BlueBell is a sweet, sassy little girl! She gives sweet kisses and loves to be held, but isn't afraid to venture off into the great unknown (the backyard) on her own. She's loves sneaking up on her brother and wrestling, loves all the toys and snuggles. BlueBell is learning to potty outside and doing fairly well considering she's only been in our home a week.

Meet Spencer! An adorable, 9-month-old Pug/Chihuahua mix that came to us from CA to find his forever home. Spencer is a super sweet puppy who is the life of the party and loves to play with toys. He walks great on a leash and knows some basic commands. He is housetrained and crate trained. He loves to run and play and would enjoy an active family who will take him on daily walks and adventures. He loves other dogs and we are looking for a home with another playful dog. He is currently in a foster home with children (ages 5 and 7) and does well with them. He’s very much a lap dog and will curl up with his people as soon as they sit down. Spencer is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Lorilei! She is a cute, 1 year old, Pug who came to us from CA to find a better life. She is super friendly, fun, happy-go-lucky girl who wants to be in the presence of her person at all times. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She does well with other dogs but would honestly love to be someone’s “one and only” and soak up all of the love and attention for herself. She can resource guard people (when they are eating) and other dogs are around as she loves people food but really doesn’t care about dog food. She is a great girl who would make a wonderful addition for one lucky family. Lorilei is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $600.
