Story
Meet Pino! This little fella is just hilarious in every way. Look at his face, that underbite... we just can't. If his looks weren't enough, his personality shines also! He is playful, social, funny, affectionate and just an all around good boy. He loves other dogs, loves to play and gets along with all people. He loves his walks and just loves life in general. The only thing he does not love is being alone. He needs to learn to spend time on his own here and there but for now he will not do well in a home where his people are away all day. He would love a dog friend in the home, but for now needs shorter periods away from his humans. He will cry when left alone so an apartment is not suitable for him.  Pino is no couch potato! He loves a cuddle but needs plenty of playtime and exercise.  Pino is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $525     We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!

Story
Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. I know it's easy to fall in love with a cute face, but one of the most important things Evergreen Pug Rescue can do for a dog is give them time. Time to settle in. Time to feel safe. Time to receive any veterinary care they may need. And most importantly, time to learn who they really are. Because while my photos may tell part of my story, they don't tell all of it. Am I a champion cuddler? A toy enthusiast? A professional sunbeam napper? What kind of home will help me thrive? Those are the things my rescuers are still learning. Before the adoption team begins considering applications for me, I'll have my veterinary exam and spend some time letting everyone get to know me a little better. It's not because anyone thinks something is wrongit's simply because the best matches happen when we understand the dog behind the wrinkles. For now, I'm focusing on settling in, enjoying plenty of love and care, and showing my foster family exactly who I am. As my story unfolds, Evergreen Pug Rescue will share updates and let everyone know when I'm ready for the next chapter. Until then, thank you for cheering me on from afar. I can't wait to meet you when the time is right. Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Welcome Nutz to CCPAL Rescue. Nutz is a 3-year-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He is a quieter dog and likes to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that is more quiet and wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 10-week-old Pug mix puppy. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood stil and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever homes. We would prefer pug people for these pups, as they know the breed best.
