Kiwi and Mimi were used by breeders in a remote area north of Los Angeles and then dumped. They were found together and we think they are mother and daughter. They love each other and play and cuddle together as the best of friends. Kiwi and Mimi are both very person oriented and will gratefully soak up affection at the slightest invitation. They both enjoy going for walks and are leash trained and are excellent hiking companions. Kiwi and Mimi are also superb cuddle companions and love to snuggle up with you or just sunbathe. They are healthy, house trained, spayed, current on all vaccines and microchipped. Adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old. A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs. I am trying to place a bonded pair. Penny is a sweet pug-mix. She is almost four years old. Her bond-mate is named Taco, he is also a pug mix and is about the same age as Penny. They are both good with kids and good with cats with some monitoring (they have lived with my cats for the last three years). They are both very sweet and friendly, a bit high energy at first, but they settle down fairly quickly. Penny is super friendly, but she can sometimes try to be the "alpha" with other dogs. She has never been aggressive with people or cats.

We will never understand why people could be so cruel and be able to sleep at night. This is Mamba and Ariel. These two little ones were dumped in a box in the streets of Long Beach some time ago. A good Samaritan brought them to his house and instead of taking them to the shelter, he started to call rescues everywhere. They did have microchips and given names. However, the owners were nowhere to be found. Weeks past and the good Samaritan got a hold of our rescue, and we welcomed these two little "dogs in the box". Mamba and Ariel were eventually adopted from us and they were cared for. Unfortunately, the owners do not want to keep them both. We would never separate them, so we have come to agreement that we will take both back. It is very obvious they are bonded, and it would be cruel to have them be apart. Sometimes this happens and our adoption contract clearly states that in the event you are not able to keep the dog adopted from us, the dog shall return to us only. We would love to find a home for these two, they are both up to date with everything, including dentals. They love to do everything together, walks, naps, play and cuddle. They are small mix dogs, mid-age. Please contact us if you are interested, they are located in the san Fernando valley where they can be fostered or adopted. We DO NOT adopt out of state.
