Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌲💛 Meet Forest — The Puggle With the Snuggles! 💛🌲 (2 Years • ~25 lbs • Certified Good Boy) If you’ve been wishing for a dog who’s equal parts adorable, cheerful, snuggly, and slightly goofy in the BEST possible way… congratulations, you’ve just found Forest — the Puggle who brings sunshine, tail wags, and pure serotonin everywhere he goes. At 2 years old and around 25 pounds, Forest is the perfect “I fit anywhere” size — couch? Yes. Car seat? Absolutely. Your lap even when you just sat down with hot coffee? Oh, 100%. This fawn-colored sweetheart has a warm expression that could melt the polar ice caps and a personality that says, “Hi, I love you, what’s your name, do you have snacks?” He’s friendly, charming, and convinced that every human and dog he meets is his new best friend. 🐾 Forest’s Favorite Things: • Walks where he can sniff 92,000 smells per minute • Treats (your fingers may or may not become “bonus treats”) • Being included in anything — chores, TV time, folding laundry, life decisions • Wagging his whole butt, not just the tail • Making people laugh with his joyful Puggle antics Forest is housebroken with the help of a dog door, kennel trained, and an easy, happy companion in the home. He floats through life with the spirit of a tiny golden retriever trapped in a Puggle body. He recently completed heartworm treatment (fast-kill, immiticide), and he’s expected to test negative at his next check — meaning he’s ready for his fresh start, his forever family, and hopefully a spot on your couch. He’s great with other dogs and wonderful with kids! Cats? She is a four year old Beagle mix who is healthy, happy, spayed and up to date on all vaccines. This girl loves being outside, going for walks in the woods, chasing a ball, jumping in the leaves, sliding on the snow or laying in the warm sun. Neptune has participated in basic obedience training and is good on the leash and loves car rides.  She is fully housebroken and does not chew on household items at all.  She typically is a calm girl who loves to sleep on her bed and enjoy the day.  Neptune does best in a home with routines and structure. She is very cautious around strangers and is protective of her people and her home. Because of that she should be in a home without other animals or children.  She is a loveable pup that can be silly, loves her belly rubbed and having her fur brushed. Scratching her ears and under her chin are her favorite spots. Meet Moochie, a super cute young adult neutered male chihuahua mix, weighing about 10 lbs! This sweet, spunky boy can be a little shy with new people, but he warms up quickly once he knows you are safe. He does well with other dogs (not cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats). He is not a fan of young children (honestly, we can't say we blame him! ), so he must go to an adult only home (or teenagers 15+ who know to respect a dog's space). He is medically up to date, mostly housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet this adorable little guy today! **Moochie will not be available until our 12/14/25 adoption event at Petco in Dayville, CT. We are accepting applications on him now! We will prioritize applicants who are able to attend the 12/14 event. Meet Nay Nay, a super cute adult spayed female long haired chihuahua mix, weighing about 10 lbs! This sweet girl found herself at an overcrowded kill shelter in east TN, where she was very scared. We took her into rescue and placed her in a loving foster home, and she is now ready to head to New England to find her furever home! Nay Nay is good with other dogs and people. She has not been cat tested, however we feel she would likely do fine with cats. She has not been around young kids, so we are unsure how she would do with them.  She is medically up to date, mostly housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained.
