My name is Peppermint Patty, but you can call me “PP” for short—my rescue family came up with that sweet nickname just for me.    Let me tell you a little about myself. I have a special day to celebrate every year on October 10th—yep, that’s my birthday! I’m a small but mighty 5.5-pound Chihuahua mix, and I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped to keep me safe and sound. As I continue to grow, I should be around 20 pounds or less when I reach my full size, which makes me the perfect little companion to have by your side!   I have quite the backstory, too! I was rescued from a hoarding situation along with my mom and siblings. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I’ve been staying with a loving foster mom for a little while now. She has helped me decompress and feel more comfortable in my new environment, and I’m grateful for that. Now, I’m feeling ready to find my very own forever home where I can truly thrive!   As a pup, I’m known for my calm and gentle nature. I absolutely love to play, but my favorite thing in the world is to cuddle up close to my humans and just enjoy their company. There’s nothing quite like being around people who give me love and attention!
