This funny girl gravitates to ponds to swim in, loves a good roll and scratch in the grass and socializes with everyone from the cats to the XL dogs living with her. She is totally unaware of her size, loves to meet strangers, go for car rides and is always up for an adventure. She would love a home with other dogs but this girl would also love to be the only one, soaking up all the attention and being your sidekick! Meet Theo! 🐾 Theo is a 3-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 7 pounds, and he is truly the sweetest little guy.He is very laid-back, quiet, and low-energy, and his favorite place to be is curled up near his person. He'll sit beside you and slowly inch closer and closer until he's practically snuggled right into you. He's still working on his confidence when it comes to becoming a full-on lap dog, but once he feels safe, he is incredibly loving and affectionate.Theo can be a little shy at first and will need a few days to warm up and decompress, but he is absolutely worth the wait. His foster mom adores him and says he is such an easy, precious little companion.He has the cutest personality, too. Theo LOVES burrowing into blankets, enjoys treats and puzzle feeders, and can often be found with his tiny tongue sticking out. He is pee-pad trained and does wonderfully with dogs, cats, and kids.Theo is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready for his forever home. He would be perfect for someone looking for a sweet, quiet little companion who just wants a soft blanket, a cozy spot beside you, and plenty of love. ❤️

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Say hello to Jax! Jax is a handsome man and he'd love a place to call his own. Jax is suspected to be a cattle dog mix, but he's only about 35 lbs - a pocket heeler! He is anxious and a little nervous around new people and would likely do best in a quiet home with some time to decompress and show you his true personality. Jax is an energetic dog and he thrives off of daily walks, play, and enrichment to keep him happy. He has previously lived with other dogs, even dogs several times his own size, and done well with them. Jax has no experience with cats and would benefit from a slow introduction to ensure the safety and comfort of all animals. Jax is in our special adoption program which helps set up adopters and their new dog for success with pre and post adoption counseling.
