Meet Poppa! Poppa is an adorable 8-month-old Boston Terrier mix weighing approximately 21 pounds who is ready to find his FURever home! He was surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center through no fault of his own after his previous family was no longer able to care for him and his sibling, Olive. Now this sweet boy is hoping to find a loving family to call his own! Poppa is a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy who is still very much a puppy! He will need a family with the time, patience, and commitment to continue helping him learn and grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Poppa already has a great start! He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has done well with other dogs, children, and even cats! With continued training, socialization, and consistency, Poppa has the potential to make a wonderful addition to a loving home. Poppa's adoption fee is $125, which includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, age-appropriate boosters, and heartworm test. He is scheduled to complete his veterinary care on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. If adopted before this appointment, his new family must return him to RAC on that date. This appointment is non-negotiable and a required part of his adoption contract, so please plan accordingly.
