Story
Dottie was an owner surrender to a local shelter due to previous owner not wanting to deal with her allergies and medical needs. She is 3 yrs old, is not a fan of being in a kennel and will let you know it. She prefers to sleep with her human. She loves to play and would definitely benefit from another playful dog in the home. She is allergic to chicken and is currently on a fish based food. She also has permanent scarring in both ears due to previous owners ignoring ear infections and hematomas. Vet thinks it's possible she has partial hearing loss from this. This does not stop her lovable personality. She will need regular visits to vet to keep her ears healthy.

Story
Royal is a medium energy, loving pup that loves be included in any activity, whether it’s with her people or her other furry friends. She isn’t a huge fan of playing with toys as she would rather be playing with other dogs. Royal is house broken and kennel trained. When she gets overly excited she will bark to get your attention. As far as we know she hasn’t shown any sort of food allergies. This sweetheart is the perfect companion! Royal is 4 years old and does not have any known health issues. French bulldogs are prone to many health issues so pet insurance is a must with this breed. Apply to adopt here: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic     ##2141984##

Story
Meet Humphrey — Your Future Couch Goblin and Car Ride Companion! “Hi, I’m Humphrey. I’m four years old, Frenchie fabulous, and I come with a beautiful brindle coat and a whole lot of character packed into my short, stocky frame.” Humphrey is a compact little tank of love who’s equal parts silly and sweet. He’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to be independent—but don’t be fooled, he loves being social and tagging along for all your daily adventures. Car ride? Don’t mind if he does. Toy time? Absolutely. Zoomies? You better believe it. But let’s be real—this little guy needs structure. “I play hard. Like, ‘I might accidentally body slam the toy box’ hard. Boundaries help me keep my cool, so I don’t turn into a tiny, brindle wrecking ball.” Humphrey has a big personality and doesn't always know how to be gentle. While he loves kids, we are not placing him in a home with young children due to the risk of accidental nipping during rough play. He’s also a little too good at packing on the pounds, which can make it tough for him to stay active and breathe comfortably. “Yeah, I can gain weight just looking at a treat. So let’s keep my snacks in check, okay?” A regulated diet and a reasonable amount of exercise will help keep Humphrey healthy and happy. Frenchies are known for being lovable clowns with medical quirks, and Humphrey is no exception. Because of their breed-specific health concerns, we require that adopters carry pet insurance to ensure he gets the care he may need down the road. If you’re looking for a loyal, hilarious, and slightly dramatic little shadow who thrives with structure and loves with his whole heart, Humphrey’s waiting to make your home 10x more fun (and 100% more adorable) ##2259464##

Story
This fine gentleman joined the Angie's Friends family back in May after being surrendered because he was battling a skin infection. Angie got him over to the vet and discovered he also had heartworms. He was surrendered because his former family is about to have a baby, so they don't have the resources for Gordo's vetting needs (please don't comment on this - we know! ). Gordo found a fantastic new family, but they're experiencing some health issues and, though they love him, Gordo isn't quite a match. Gordo is only two years old and hilarious, but he's also a little stubborn Gordo is good with dogs, but not with the kitties - he thinks they're really fun to chase. He's almost done with his HW treatment, too! #gordito #angiesfriends #adoptdontshop February 10, 2025, 9:21 pm

Story
Meet sweet Puglsey!  Pugsley is around 4 years old.  We named him Pugsley Addams because he came to us around Halloween time.  His favorite pastime is to follow you around the house.  He wants to have you in his line of sight all the time.  He loves to cuddle and will be a wonderful companion dog to anyone.  He enjoys his daily walks and walks well on leash.  He is good with cats.  He would be happier if he is the only dog at home. Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit from an RHS representative. Apply. You can complete an application at an MTP event or complete it online by either clicking the button below or the “Adopt” button beneath the pet’s photo in the listings above. Phone Interview or Attend a Meet the Pets (MTP) event. This is a great opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and see if you connect. We hold these events once a month on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We post the pets who are expected to attend on Friday evening on our Facebook page. For exact details and locations, view our event calendar. If an event is over a week away, a counselor may contact you for a phone interview. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a home visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in again and the pet can meet other pets in the family. We will try to send the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at MTP or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $125 for cats. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets. APPLY HERE: www.richardsonhumanesociety.org ##1553556##

Story
Hello! I’m Tigger—a handsome, fun-loving 3 year old guy with a zest for life and a striking resemblance to Stitch from Lilo & Stitch! I’ve come a long way from a rough start, where I was confined to an outdoor cage with no love or medical care. Now, I’m healthy, happy, and enjoying life with my foster family and dog siblings. I’m crate trained and do well while you're at work, though I still need a belly band when I’m out to prevent accidents. I’d love a patient home to help me continue my potty training. I enjoy walks in the cooler morning and evening hours and love the water—though I can’t swim, I’ll happily take a dip in the pool with a life jacket and a little help! I’m a total foodie who even enjoys fruits and veggies. I do best eating in my crate since I haven’t quite mastered sharing yet. I’m a bit shy at first, but once I know you, I’m incredibly affectionate and love snuggling on the couch while we watch TV. I’m great with older kids but get too worked up around little ones. Ready to bring your very own “Stitch” home? I can’t wait to meet you!
