Lola is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Lola lives with 2 other dogs and does great! She is housetrained, good with other dogs, and would like a relaxed home after being surrendered due to not enough time for her in the home after a job change. We look forward to sharing more about her as she settles into her foster home! Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care. Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250. Jerry is an 8 year old male Chihuahua that weighs 11 lbs. He enjoys other dogs and playing outdoors. Jerry has that typical Chihuahua charm that makes him instinctively protective of his yard and family. He is pad trained. His rabies is good till 7/7/2027, but needs all other vetting and neutered done. Jerry does not like to be bothered while eating. Unsure about cats and other dogs, leash trained and he sleeps on his own bed and likes to sleeps with a blanket on top of him. Jerry does not need to be crated when you leave the house. This is AJ. He’s an adorable 4-year-old chihuahua who is looking for a new home. He’ll need a few days/weeks to acclimate into his new home but once he does, he’s very affectionate. Currently, he has 7 other dogs in his foster pack so he gets a bit overwhelmed with the puppy. When she’s not around, he’s very affectionate and likes to be near his person. While he does well with all the foster nuts, he’d prefer a household with not quite so many dogs. I don’t have cats and my kids are grown so I don’t know how he does with littles. AJ gets free rein of the house when I’m gone. He is potty trained ; he likes to spend time outside except when the weather is frigid. At this moment, he’s curled up on the bed with me and 3 other dogs. He can’t always jump on furniture but, at 16 pounds, he’s easy to lift up. AJ was neutered and is up to date on shots. Adoption fee of $500 required.
