Cricket was born November 7, 2025. I got her when she was 8 weeks old. She is pure bred Pumi. Because of my age and back issues I can’t really keep up with her. She loves the neighborhood cat. She can fetch, and loves to. She sits for her food. She is outside during the day, with plenty of shade. She comes in at night or during bad weather and stays in an area blocked off for her with a pet gate. She loves to play in water.

Here's a version that sounds more like a rescue telling his story and less like a polished adoption ad: Thacker is an AKC-registered Miniature Poodle who somehow found himself being passed from family to family before finally landing somewhere safe. When he arrived at Flying B, he was underweight and suffering from one of the worst skin conditions we've seen in a long time. The good news? Our veterinary team believes his condition is the result of neglect and a lack of basic care, not chronic allergies or a lifelong medical issue. With proper nutrition, treatment, and a little time, Thacker should make a full recovery. And despite everything he's been through, Thacker hasn't lost his spark. He's smart, affectionate, playful, and completely house trained. He has excellent manners in the home and is the kind of dog who just seems to know how to fit into a family. He's friendly with other dogs but doesn't need to be the center of attention—he's perfectly content to coexist and do his own thing. Honestly, Thacker is the real deal. The hard part of his story is behind him, and now he's ready for the life he should have had all along: a family that sees him as a forever commitment, not a temporary stop along the way.
