Ojo is a very confident rambunctious little girl. She is considered special needs because her vision is impaired, but still plays like she’s not. She loves to lick and give kisses. Ojo is very friendly, good natured and just loves people. She is the most lovable of the litter of 4. Since she is visually impaired, she is being paired up to be adopted with her brother, Treelow. Ojo is best suited for a one story house with adults only or older children. She has been introduced to another cat and small dog and did okay when she got use to their smell. Tita has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which means that her immune system is compromised - basically, she will be prone to getting sicker faster than the average cat if she is exposed to illness causing viruses, bacteria or fungi. For this reason, she MUST remain indoors, and while the virus is not easily communicated through casual contact (social grooming, sharing food and water bowls, etc.), it would still be best for her to be the only feline in the house. FIV is species specific and cannot be transmitted to humans, dogs, or other non-feline household pets. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives if they are kept indoors, fed a healthy diet and receive their routine vaccination boosters. Meet Miffy, a loving gray/white DSH who is about 5 to 6 months of age. According to the people who brought her in, Miffy is super gentle and friendly. She loves getting attention and belly rubs, and she remains very calm and relaxed, even during baths. She gets along well with the other cats here and was in a home prior with dogs and kids.
