When Zelda came to the rescue, we had trapped her and 6 other kittens at the solar farm in Spotsylvania. Zelda is a beautiful cat who enjoys petting. She requires good grooming as her long fur tends to get matted. Zelda would thrive in an environment where she could get more individualized attention than we can give her at the rescue. Zelda gets along well with the other cats in the room. She's a relatively quiet and laid back cat. Tito is a pure bred Ragdoll boy we are thrilled to have in our rescue. He was obviously owned by a family at one time but sadly left abandoned on the street. We think Tito is a young adult. Gorgeous fur and coloring. He has been out and about playing with his foster friends. Loves attention and to be doted on. Tito does fine with female cats but can be a bit territorial with big type A cats. Most other males he is fine with. We would like to see Tito in a home experienced with the Ragdoll breed and/or long haired cats. Grooming and maintaining long fur needs to be kept up. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

I came to King Street Cats after some kitties in my other home were being unkind to me and it made me sad. I also had lost my mom and missed her so much. King Street Cats has taken such good care of me. I have had all the vetting I needed, even had the last of my teeth removed! Don't feel badly about that, I think it is a plus as my family will never have to pay for dental treatment for me. There is one kind of embarrassing thing I need to share. My lovely long fur had been a bit neglected and I had lots of mats and knots that caused me some pain; so I had to have all my fur shaved. It is growing back now but still has a ways to go. I know my new family will be sure that I never have to go through that again. Anyway, I wanted to ask, do you have a lovely quiet home, with a sunny window? We adopted enza when she was 8 weeks old, she is good with dogs and kids. She’s a cuddler and just wants to be loved. We are in the process of adopting a child and she is allergic to cats so that is the only reason we need to rehome her. Enza is 10 years old and is still full of energy, still catches house flies with her paws. Enza will come with a litter robot, food and a cat carrier and cat tree.

🐾 Brownie came into our lives unexpectedly. Almost ten years ago, their stray mama cat led her and her sister, Loki, to our doorstep as tiny 3-month-old kittens, and they've been loved members of our family ever since. Now, due to an international move, we are heartbroken to find them a new home and are hoping to place Brownie with someone who will cherish her as much as we do. Brownie is a beautiful, mellow housecat with a gentle soul. She loves nothing more than curling up beside you on the couch for a good cuddle session and will happily sit for as long as you'll pet her. She also adores being combed and enjoys lounging on her cat tree. Brownie is a true homebody who thrives in a calm, quiet environment, perhaps with older adults or anyone who enjoys relaxed, affectionate company.
