Story
Everyone, meet Roger! This little peanut is adorable. He's so darn cute with an equally adorable personality. He'll just melt your heart with his shy-at-first disposition, but he warms up quickly, rolling on his back for belly rubs and asking for more pets. He’s alert, inquisitive and affectionate. He does great with other dogs of his size in our play yard, and we've noticed he's more of a follower than a leader. When we rescued Roger, he was severely neglected and starved. We took him in and gave him all the TLC he required to blossom into the beautiful boy he is today. He is now ready for his forever home! Roger would thrive in a loving home who will keep him under their wing to provide the love and sort of haven that all the comforts of a nurturing home would provide. Roger loves to go for walks, so a home that can commit to taking him on daily walks would make him so happy! Roger is neutered, up to date with vaccinations and microchipped. His current weight is around 14 lbs. and he’s estimated to have been born around January 2022. Please note, if you’re not ready to adopt but would consider fostering Roger, we would love to share with your what that means and how much of a positive difference you’d be making in a life of a dog that needs you.

Story
Looking forward and not looking back takes resilience and commitment. Lynn has both of these and her thriving spirit will not relent. Lynn comes into rescue with the help of chance and luck. It was witnessed that she was dumped/thrown from a truck. Scared and unfamiliar with her surroundings, she was rescued and brought to safety. Lynn dreams now of finding her forever family. Lynn is a 3-year-old Fiest/Terrier mix weighing around 35 pounds. That places her in the medium size category for her weight class. She feels that she is not too big or too small but rather just right. Her experience has left her a shy girl with initial introductions, but she is learning that life can be loving and kind. Positive interactions are the key to helping her relax as she learns to adjust. In the meantime, Lynn is good with other dogs, children and adults. She does well with friendly interactions and would benefit from regular exercise, continued training and socialization. Lynn has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue so it remains unknown if she would be accepting of a feline in her life. Lynn walks like a dream on a leash with leash walks being beneficial to her and her owner as it offers exploration, socialization, and bonding opportunities. She is currently working on her house and crate training. Whatever her past was, Lynn is not letting it hold her back to finding her dream family. TLC will go a long way with this girl front and center in your life. Fill out an application today and start the next chapter in her life book. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Lynn is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.May 15, 2026, 7:49 am

Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.

Buddy is a 13-year-old neutered terrier mix with a youthful spirit and lots of love to give. Surrendered after his owner fell on hard times, hes ready for a fresh start with a caring family. Dont let his age fool you - Buddy has a moderate amount of energy and will thrive with daily exercise and mental enrichment. He can live in any size home, including an apartment, as long as his activity needs are met. Hes housetrained, knows sit, enjoys being brushed, and tends to be a low vocal dog.
