Meet Bandit, a super cute ~3 month old male small/medium terrier mix puppy, currently weighing about 15 lbs! Bandit and his siblings (Bruno, Mars, Baxter, and Amore) were surrendered to PRL along with their mom, Mamcita (21 lbs) when they were about 6 weeks old. We believe they came from a hoarding/backyard breeding situation, which is sadly very common in TN. We do not know what Dad is, but based on their age and current weight, we think they will likely grow to medium sized dogs (30-40 lbs is our best guess). Bandit is a typical happy, playful puppy who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. From Bandit's current foster: "Bandit is an amazing puppy! He is completely potty trained and crate trained already at 10 weeks (as long as you take him out often). He sleeps through the night already and is a complete doll. Loves all our dogs. Enjoys playing by himself and of course with the dogs. What an easy puppy. Hope he finds his family because when they meet him they will just adore this little guy!" Maggie was rescued from a hoarding/neglect case in Kentucky along with the other Tree pups (Magnolia, Pine, Sycamore, etc.). She is currently being fostered in CT and is ready to find her furever home! Maggie is a shy/nevous girl who takes some time to trust and warm up to new people. This absolutely adorable, tiny little Jack Russel girl is Storm! She was purchased from a breeder as a baby from a family who cared very much for her. They soon got a larger dog who grew to bully her and they made the sad decision that it would be best for Storm as it would be harder for their bigger dog with behavioral issues to find a good home. Thankfully Storm found herself a wonderful foster home where she has been given lots of love! Storm is 4 years old and weighs about 10 lbs. She’s a healthy, sweet girl who has had all of her medical work completed! Shes current on vaccines, deworming, microchipped, she’s heartworm tested negative, she’s current on preventative and she’s now spayed! She is now officially ready for adoption!! Storm settled in well to her foster home and is a mellow, easy going, super snuggly girl. She is curious with the kitties but doesn’t chase or bark at them, she’s learning kitties are family too! She does well as an only dog, but will also be happy to live with other dogs as long as they are easy going and kind to her as well. She does not enjoy rough play or high energy from pups. She’s more of a snuggle on the sofa, relaxed kind of girl. Storm is excellent with house training and does great reliably going potty outside. She is not mischievous in the house and has excellent manners! True to Jack Russel form, if she sees the mailman outside or the garbage man she’ll bark a little at the window, but she’s all in all a quiet, loving girl. At bedtime her favorite thing is to be under the covers snuggling with you in bed! She sleeps quietly through the night close to you, enjoying the beauty of being loved. She’s dreaming of a home with gentle, loving, easy going parents in a more quiet, peaceful home where she can snooze on the sofa when you go out, and greet you at the door when you get home- and she will have the cutest super wagging little docked tail, so excited that you’re home!
