Buzz loves blankets, cuddling, riding in cars, playing with dogs and cats. He is a sweet boy and very much a lap dog. He has anxiety around thunderstorms and fireworks. He recently turned ten years old. He is leashed trained, but will run after deer if not in a fenced yard or on a leash. Looking for a loving home. Happy to share more details about the why and buzz in general.

Story
Meet Jack! This cute little 3-year-old Rat Terrier is looking for his forever home - and he's a package deal! Jack is bonded with Millie, so the two of them must be adopted together. Jack is so very loving, especially once he's bonded with his person.. he'll be by your side through it all. He does take some time to warm up to new people, so we're looking for a home without small children, where he can ease into trust at his own pace. Jack already has some great manners down: he's leash trained and house trained, making the transition into your home that much smoother. We're also seeking a home with a small-breed-appropriate fenced yard where he can safely enjoy the outdoors. Loyal, loving, and ready to settle in with his best friend Millie by his side, Jack is hoping to find a family who's ready to earn his trust and love him for life. Jack's estimated birthdate is June 2023, he weighs 16 pounds, and his adoption fee is $510. Jack has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. To schedule a time to meet Jack and Millie, please complete an adoption survey at furkids.org and a team member will get in contact with you to chat more. You must be 21+ to adopt.

Story
Introducing Millie! This sweet 3-year-old Rat Terrier comes as part of a duo: she's bonded with Jack, and the two must find their new home together. Millie is deeply affectionate with her person and thrives on that special one-on-one bond. She's a bit cautious with unfamiliar faces at first and needs time to build trust, so we're hoping to find her a home without small children where she can adjust comfortably. Millie already has the basics down pat: she's both leash trained and house trained, making her transition into a new home much easier. A small-breed-suitable fenced yard is also a must, giving her a safe space to romp and relax outdoors. Devoted, gentle, and bonded to her best friend Jack, Millie is hoping for a family patient enough to win her heart and give her the forever love she deserves. Millie's estimated birthdate is June 2023 and she weighs about 12 pounds. Her adoption fee is $510 and she is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. To learn more about Jack & Millie, complete an adoption survey at furkids.org and a team member will get in touch with you to schedule an in-person meeting. You must be 21+ to adopt.

Story
Hello, my name is Linky West! I'm around 9 years old and I weigh about 15-20 pounds. I think I'm a rat terrier mix. I'm spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and ready to find my new home! I'm house trained and have learned to walk on a leash fairly well. I do not like crates for more than a short period of time, but that's okay because I can be left out without any worry of mischief making. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was very scared and unsure. Over time, I have settled in and come to love it here. I'm so much more happy and confident. I discovered that I love toys and cuddling. I also love treats! Now that I am more confident, I have found my voice and will let you know any time something even remotely interesting is going on in the house or the neighborhood, so I'd do best in a home that did not share walls with neighbors. I live with four other dogs right now. I prefer gentle, easy going dogs and do not care for bossy or dominant dogs. I also lived with cats in my last home. My favorite companion is my human though. Once I get to know you, I will adore you! Where you go, I go. I must insist that I sit on the couch with you and sleep in bed with you.    An odd quirk I have is that I get scared when someone tries to handle me (like a vet) or put something on my body (like a harness). If you slow down and speak sweetly, it helps me calm down a bit. My other request is a securely fenced yard. This is because I sometimes try to dart out the door and run wild, and also because I'm still working on my leash skills.  I'm really enjoying life in my foster home, but I am ready to find my new forever home!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          July 18, 2026, 7:22 am
