Story
Snap is a bundle of energy…until he’s not. He pretty quickly transforms into a lapdog cuddle-bug. He is a 2 year old Rat Terrier & has a lot of puppy in him & he has a big desire for you to tell him he is a good boy. He is a dog for the people, less so for dogs. Don’t get me wrong, he is friendly with most dogs, but he is a bully to others. To be specific, he turns into a ninja who talks a lot of crap he can’t back up when big…really big dogs are around. He has gotten more tolerant to being the smallest dog in the room and generally, pays more attention to me than he does any of the dogs. Snap is the kind of dog that will, with enthusiasm ,ride along with you in the car, follow your every step outside, and then come inside and curl up on the couch to watch a Lifetime movie. He’s down for any adventure but he will sleep in as long as you do.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Meet Chino, a young, sweet soul looking for a forever home of his very own. Chino can be nervous in new environments and greeting new people, but when giving him additional time and space to acclimate, he warms up and likes to show off his goofy personality. Once comfortable, his days are filled with playful antics and gentle interactions, making everyone around him smile with his goofy charm. Chino loves to engage in fun games, always ready to fetch or play tug-of-war. His funny quirks include tilting his head curiously whenever he hears interesting sounds, bringing joy and laughter to all who witness it. Chino would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a loving and lively companion to brighten their days.An ideal home:Recommend slow introductions to new people and placesOffer additional time and space to acclimateLoves tennis balls and stuffed toys

Story
This baby's mom was confiscated from a dirty and loud house with her 7 babies. She was malnourished using every last ounce of energy to feed her babies. SAVeD stepped in and took them in, now everyone is thriving. Momma is healthy and all the puppies are well fed and ready for adoption. Puppies come with first two vaccines, microchipped, and wormed with a coupon for a spay/neuter at our vets when they are 6 months old. Can you give them the furever home they deserves? You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. &#226&#128&#139Meet Corduroy and Tonks, an inseparable bonded pair of dogs with a heartwarming story. After spending two weeks as strays, they stuck together through thick and thin, showcasing an unbreakable loyalty. Tonks is a 3-4 year old spirited terrier mix, and Corduroy is 3-4 year old lovable poodle mix. Both girls have great temperaments and are affectionate with people, and other dogs. Both might need time to gain confidence around larger dogs but do great after slow introductions. Both are crate trained and about 95% potty trained and eager to learn more. Corduroy and Tonks both need supervision and reminders as they continue their journey. This dynamic duo is ready for a loving forever home where they can thrive together, bringing joy and companionship to their new family.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. January 24, 2026, 8:22 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Little Jack is a Jack Russell Terrier mix of about 5 years old.  Little Jack is new to our rescue so we are still learning about him, but he is said to be good with men, women and kids; a cuddle-bug, and a tad shy at first, but warms up quickly.  Little Jack seems to do well with other dogs, but is not good with cats. Little Jack is UTD on vaccines and neutered.  He will be microchipped before going to his adoptive home.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee.  Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 14, 2026, 12:46 pm
