Meet Bluey!! Bluey is a 2 year old and aprox 25 pounds small Terrier mix with beautiful blue ticking colo and 1 blue eye 💙 Bluey came to us as a Mama with 5 babies who all looked like her. She was a very good mama. Even after her babies were weaned she took on another litter that didn’t have a mom and she was a surrogate for them. Blue can be shy in the beginning but warms up with a handful of treats. She is crate trained and house broken. Bluey is spayed and up to date on all vetting. She does good with orher dogs of all sizes. We don’t recommend cats. She is also good with kids of all ages. Bluey enjoys being outside playing with the other dogs. She will usually stay out until we call her in. She is low energy and enjoys laying around. She is learning how to walk on a leash but still is a little nervous. She is a work in progress and we are proud at how far she has come since her arrival at NDLB. She does great with my 8 month old dog along with my 11.5 yr old dog. She is non-aggressive with cats but may chase if they run. I have had a cat with her and rubbing on her with no problem. She loves kids. She likes water and to swim. We have taken her camping with us numerous times. She is reactive but non aggressive and rarely barks. She loves everyone she meets. she loves to sleep in bed right next tp you and doesn't mind. blanket to cover up with. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. Meet Buttercup.  She appears to be a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihua mix about 5-6 months old.  She has wisps of hair around her face and body.  She is very new to the rescue, so we are still learning about her.  What we know so far is that she is a little nervous in new situations, but that is possible due to all the sudden changes in her life. However, at this time, we would not recommend her for a family with young children [12 and under].   Buttercup will be visiting the vet soon for a health exam.  At that time she will receive any needed vaccines and be microchipped.  Buttercup is already spayed.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
