Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mocha is a joyful, playful pup who absolutely adores people and other dogs. Her favorite activities include tug-of-war, chasing her doggy friends while they fetch the ball, and splashing around in any water she can find — even her water bowl in her crate! She’s crate trained and quiet when resting, and she’s fully potty trained, able to hold overnight for up to 10 hours. Mocha thrives outdoors, especially when she gets to swim — she’s a true water lover! Still growing and learning, Mocha knows basic commands and would benefit from continued training to help her shine even brighter. She’s looking for an active family who can keep up with her energy and enthusiasm, and she’d be thrilled to have some fur siblings to play with. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, water-obsessed companion who will bring endless joy to your home, Mocha might just be your perfect match! Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Jacko is 11 months old and weighs an ideal 15 lbs. - sturdy enough for adventure but still the ideal size to curl up in your lap. Though he's technically still a puppy, Jacko has a calm, gentle nature. He may be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly and becomes incredibly loving and friendly. He enjoys short bursts of play, but his very favorite activity is being close to his humans while enjoying pets and belly rubs! Jacko gets along wonderfully with his similarly-sized canine foster sister and would enjoy having a small dog friend in his new home. He'd also be perfectly content as someone's one-and-only cherished companion and his ideal family situation is with someone who is home most of the time. While his signals to go outside aren't always obvious, Jacko has had zero accidents since arriving in foster care in mid-November. He sleeps through the night in a large crate, though he'd be thrilled to snuggle under the covers in bed if allowed! He also rides quietly in the car when crated, and can be left uncrated at home without any issues and will greet you joyfully when you return. He enjoys his  walks, keeps his nose to the ground in classic terrier fashion, and walks nicely except when a tempting squirrel or cat catches his eye. Jacko is an absolute gem of a rat terrier with so many great qualities.  All he needs now is a forever family to make him feel special and loved for the rest of his life!  For more photos and videos of Jacko, visit  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/jacko  .  If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www.
