Story
Meet Tommy. He's an 11 lb bundle of affection and playfulness. He loves toys and could run and play outside all day. Enjoys going for car rides and does well around our old cat. We got him when he was a puppy almost 3 years ago. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed 2 years ago with a rare progressive lung disease. I have to travel across state often for medical care. My husband also travels for work. Tommy is left by himself alot. Caring for Tommy has become difficult for me due to diminished breathing and poor lung capacity, I can't walk Tommy or play with him much. It's starting to affect his personality. You can tell he's very lonely. Tommy is a sweet boy and a great little sidekick. Want to ensure he'll go to a home with lots of love and outdoor space. We have a crate for him, toys, bowls, food, and treats. He knows some commands and is house and crate trained (as long as he goes out 3x per day) Not sure how he'll do with other dogs. May be skittish at first but warms up to treats.

Story
Popcorn came to us when the current owner was gonna euthanize her because Popcorn had been attacked by there other dog and had become an inconvenience in the owners life. She is great with either dogs here and completely house trained. She does well with kids, cats and other dogs. She is just been a joy to have around our home while we are fostering her. She loves to go for walks and snuggle on the couch. Would to great for someone that is liking for a companion to just chill on the couch and watch TV with.

Story
Name: Jollie Estimated Birthday: 8/30/2025 Breed: Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Adoption Fee: $365 Jollie is a 14-week-old Chihuahua mix with a sweet heart, a playful spirit, and the sweetest puppy curiosity. She’s currently about 5 lbs and is expected to be around 18 lbs when fully grown. Jollie was found as a puppy, and she’s been settling into foster life with all the classic puppy charm. Jollie is an active, playful pup who loves toys. She is also friendly—though she can be a little timid at first. She warms up quickly and is truly a loving little girl once she feels safe. Like most puppies, she’s still learning her manners and routines and will need continued training (potty training, leash skills, and basic commands). She is working on potty training and is already learning how to tell humans she needs to go—when she starts making little circles, it’s her cue that it’s potty time. She’s already doing well with her crate routine and sleeps in her crate each night. She has been friendly with other dogs and has shown no signs of food/toy aggression. She is a gentle puppy who just needs a little confidence-building and consistency. If you’re looking for a loving, toy-obsessed, slightly shy-at-first puppy who will blossom quickly in a forever home, come meet Jollie! Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Name: Hollie Estimated Birthday: 8/30/2025 Breed: Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Adoption Fee: $365 Meet Hollie! She is a 14-week-old Rat Terrier mix with a big personality in a tiny package! She’s currently about 5 lbs and is expected to be around 18 lbs when fully grown. Hollie was found as a puppy and has jumped right into foster life with that classic happy, bouncy puppy energy. Hollie is active, playful, and very friendly, and she warms up quickly to new people. She’s also been friendly with other dogs. Like any young pup, she’s still learning the ropes—training is a work in progress, and she will thrive with a family ready to keep up with puppy basics (potty training, leash skills, manners, and lots of positive reinforcement). She is crate-trained and sleeps in her crate each night. Hollie will be an awesome fit for a human (or family!) who’s excited to help a smart, energetic puppy learn and grow. Story
Bolt My name is Bolt named after Usain Bolt. You guessed it I am fast just like the Olympic sprinter. It is amazing I am so fast because I have an injured pelvis. Because of this injury I have had nerve damage and lost feeling in my back end. This means I cannot pee and poop like a normal dog. My foster family and vet are working with me to see if there is some things we can try. Currently we are trying out some medications to see if we can get me to have control of my functions. We are not sure if they will work but we want to try. I am such a cute boy and very loving. I get along with the other dogs in the home. I think I am in charge of the much bigger dogs because my whole six pounds are filled with determination. I am still a puppy but have gotten over a lot of puppy behavior like chewing and biting. I weigh almost 7 lbs and need to put more weight on. I am crate trained. Currently I wear a diaper most of the time. I do not love it but put up with it to make everyone happy. I am very smart and want to do the right things when asked. I love humans, my crate and soft beds. In my foster home the other dogs think I am to fast to play with but I try to play with them. Maybe they will come around. I am looking for a home where someone will love me for me. No one know how I got injured but it was not my fault. I deserve to be loved and have a loving family like all other dogs. If you have room in your heart and lap and couch please give me a chance. I will pay you back with lots of love. If interested in giving me a forever home, please complete an application at safeanimalhaven.org.November 5, 2024, 12:12 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! I’m Ollie, and I’m looking for my Best Friend! Hi! I’m Ollie. I’m 6 months old and weigh about 26 lbs, which my foster says is the perfect size for "medium-sized" snuggles. I’m mostly done growing, but I still have plenty of room in my heart for you! I might look like a regular puppy, but I’ve actually got a secret: my nose is shaped like a heart! I think it’s because I’m made of 100% pure sweetness. Why I’m the Goodest Boy: I’m a Cuddle Professional: While other puppies are busy being "spunky" and running in circles, I’d much rather be right by your side. I’m very affectionate and my favorite place in the world is wherever you are. I’m a Star Student: I’m already crate trained! I know that my crate is a safe spot for naps, and I’m very patient when I’m in there. I’m Healthy & Ready: I’m all caught up on my vaccinations and have had all my age-appropriate vetting. I even have a microchip, so if I ever get lost, I can find my way back to you! My Wish List: I’m looking for a family who likes belly rubs, gentle ear scratches, and cozy evenings. I promise to be your most loyal companion and to greet you every day with a wagging tail and a heart-shaped boop. Do you have a spot on your couch (and in your heart) for me? submit an application at https://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. I am new to the rescue. My foster mom will update when she learns more about me.For more information and to submit an application, got to www.arrfnc.com. Thanks!February 5, 2026, 8:02 pm
