Meet Amber. For the last six years, Amber has been somebody's good girl. Her family took wonderful care of her- regular vet visits, dental cleanings, the works. She's spent her whole life as a loved, well cared for family dog. Then, suddenly, everything changed. Her elderly owners were hospitalized, and through absolutely no fault of her own, sweet Amber needs a new place to call home. She's a well behaved senior Redbone Coonhound who's done well with other dogs in her foster home and takes just a moment to warm up to new people before she settles right in. She's crate trained, easygoing, and still has so much love left to give. Athletic, strong, and playful, Bonnie loves fetch, knows an incredible list of tricks, and is eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved.  While she is confident and easygoing in familiar environments, Bonnie can be nervous in busy or noisy settings and needs a patient, understanding adopter who will help her continue building confidence at her own pace.  She is gentle, affectionate, crate-trained, non-destructive, wonderful with handling and grooming, friendly with other dogs, and deeply loyal to her people.
