This gorgeous hound is ready to leave her days as a stray behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family of her own. She was found wandering on hunting land and was thankfully taken in by a kind couple who made sure she received all of her veterinary care. Now that she's healthy, spayed, and ready to go, they've asked Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue to help her find the loving forever home she deserves.
Around 3 years old and weighing approximately 70 pounds, she's a beautiful, gentle girl with a sweet personality. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and currently lives happily with canine companions. She also does great with children, making her a wonderful family dog. Because of her prey drive, she would do best in a home without cats.
This lovely hound has overcome a difficult beginning and is more than ready to be someone's loyal companion. If you're looking for a faithful friend to share your adventures, your couch, and your heart, she may be the perfect match.

Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you.
The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter.

Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have.
NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption.
If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement.
