Story
Meet Bingo, a handsome young pup who is still be growing into his paws, but he's already proven how resilient he is.Abandoned in a backyard with no one to care for him, this resourceful little guy refused to give up. Determined to find a better future, he literally dug his way to freedom—only to end up at a local shelter. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan brought him to the safety of an animal hospital until PAWS said "yes!"Whoever left this precious boy behind will never know the incredible dog they gave up. He is the ultimate definition of a "good boy"—happy, goofy, playful, and the most affectionate dog who is always looking to give and receive love.Bingo is a medium-energy pup whose biggest dilemma each day is deciding whether to chase a toy or roll over for belly rubs first. While his breed mix is anyone's guess, one thing is certain—he's going to be a big boy with an even bigger heart. Due to his size, he could accidentally topple over little ones if he jumps, but so far he has done very well with kids!He has met several dogs & reads their body language wonderfully; naturally submissive and copying their playstyle. And how great is all this..........He is doing fantastic in his crate and has had zero potty accidents in the house so far! He has even cued the need to go outside by sitting at the door! He walks amazingly on a leash and is a dream passenger in the car and he is so eager to learn and working hard on basic commands like "sit" and "down."Bingo is searching for a loving, patient family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. In return, he'll fill your days with puppy kisses, endless laughter, loyalty, and a lifetime of unconditional love.Name: BingoBreed: Foxhound/American Bulldog   (Breed Mix is not guarantee - no DNA testing has been done)Sex: MaleAge: 6 monthsWeight: 40 lbs Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date. All vaccinations required after adoption are the adopter's responsibility.Heartworm: Too youngHousetrained: YesMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  Mass   Puppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)                                   $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee applies to Massachusetts residents.ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS:  You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are an experienced dog owner and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.  This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact.  PLEASE—Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Story
Meet Knox! Knox is a handsome 2 year old hound with a heart as big as his adorable, slightly chunky frame. This sweet boy is looking for a quiet, stress free home where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy life at his own pace. Knox has lived successfully with cats and would be thrilled to have a confident feline friend to keep him company. He could also do well with another calm, easygoing dog who matches his gentle personality. Like many hounds, Knox enjoys good food a little too much, so he's looking for a family committed to helping him shed a few extra pounds through regular walks, playtime, and a healthy diet. A little weight loss will help him feel his best and keep him happy and healthy for years to come. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle soul to join your family, Knox might just be the perfect match!

Story
🐾 Meet Ruckus! 🤎 12 Weeks Old | AMPT Mixed Breed | Sweet, Smart & Ready for Adventure! Looking for a puppy who’s as handsome as he is lovable? Meet Ruckus! With his striking tri-colored coat, adorable caramel “eyebrows,” bright white blaze, and soulful brown eyes, Ruckus is guaranteed to steal your heart before you even meet him. But it’s his sweet personality that will make you fall in love. Ruckus is a happy, affectionate puppy who loves people of all ages, including kids, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He was raised in foster care alongside his littermate, Porter, and the two loved wrestling, playing, and exploring together. Since Porter found his forever home, Ruckus has really come into his own, allowing his playful, goofy personality to shine. These days, one of Ruckus’s favorite things is playing with his foster family’s resident dog. Whether they’re wrestling in the yard, chasing each other around, or simply hanging out together, Ruckus absolutely loves having a canine companion. Because of that, he’d likely enjoy a home with another playful dog, though he would also do well as long as his new family is ready to give him plenty of love, playtime, and enrichment. Like any growing puppy, Ruckus loves treats, toys, walks, and spending time with his people. He’s even learning how to play Frisbee! Whether he’s exploring the backyard, going for a stroll, or joining the kids for outdoor fun, he’s happiest when he’s included in whatever his family is doing. Ruckus is already making great progress with training. He sleeps through the night in his crate without accidents and will even put himself to bed when he needs a nap. He already knows “sit,” is learning to come when called, and is doing well with leash walking. He’s still working on typical puppy manners (like remembering the leash isn’t a chew toy!), but he’s eager to learn and responds well to positive reinforcement. House training is also coming along nicely, and with continued consistency and patience, he’ll continue to thrive. His foster describes him best: “He’s a great boy that deserves the best home.” If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will grow up alongside your family, make memories with your children, enjoy adventures big and small, and fill your home with love, laughter, and puppy kisses, Ruckus could be the perfect addition. Could your family be the happily ever after Ruckus has been waiting for? ❤️ Apply today through Safe With Us Animal Rescue to meet this special boy!

Story
Our handsome Fabio is that exceptional, all around family dog, that is rare in rescue. He loves everybody and has not flinched at all during a rescue process that leaves lesser dogs rattled.  We've been trying to piece together Fabio’s backstory, but there's not much to go on. He was found as a country stray, by Animal Control Officers in Charlotte County, North Carolina. Vets say that he is a two year old adult dog.  When no worried owner came forward to collect Fabio, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue so that we could script the next chapter of his life.  Throughout the chaotic rescue process, Fabio has been an absolute charmer. He is so full of life, love and personality. He is a gentle, sweet boy who loves everyone. Fabio still has a bit of the puppy Mojo going on, but he is easily exercised with a few daily leash walks. He is a super dog that would do well in any type of environment. Fabio needs a fair amount of exercise and focused playtime so that he does not become bored and get into mischief. He would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training, which is helpful in providing additional mental stimulation. He is learning his commands, although he can become distracted easily, but he is treat motivated. He responds well to Positive Reinforcement and Leadership techniques, and seems to enjoy his training sessions. He seems to be a confident boy, ready and willing to work. Fabio has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Fabio, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call or text Denise at 860-908- 9738 for more info.

Story
Sweet 7 month old Cosmo is 45lbs of love, fun and companionship who is looking for his forever home and sure to make you laugh. He is a hound through and through, he can sniff and explore with the best of them! If you are in the market for a hiking buddy, this is your boy! Cosmo would love an active family who will take him exploring, and it would be a bonus for him if there was another family dog, Cosmo really loves having his foster brothers and sisters around! While he loves everyone he meets, his foster mom describes him as a "dog's dog", he is currently living with 5 dogs of all sizes and a cat. When he is not playing with his doggy buddies or on the trail of some great scent in the back yard, he is cuddled up with his people or in his favorite lounge chair with a bone. Cosmo does really like children but given his age and hound energy, we feel he is better suited to families with older children. Cosmo is crate and housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vetting. If you would like to make Cosmo a member of your family, please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com
