Fergi and Fetti (her mom) were taken from a local hunter, due to inadequate conditions. They are very sweet, but have never lived inside a home. They need a hero to come adopt and teach them about the good life inside a home. They do climb chain link fences, so they need homes who can contain them. Call New Kent at 804-966-9500

Story
Hi, my name is Leo I am a 10 year old Lab Hound mix, I am full of energy and love to walk/ explore wherever I am. I love kids and other animals that are friendly like me. I am very loyal and affectionate, my current owners would dare to say that I am spoiled. If there is a doggy bed with a blanket and a large yard I am in heaven.

Story
If you are looking for a loyal outdoor companion with a heart of gold, say hello to Kahlua—an 8-year-old Treewalker Coonhound mix who defines “good ole’ boy” in the best possible way. Around 60 pounds of love and sweetness, Kahlua lives for sunshine, breezes, rustling leaves, and long, thoughtful walks. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t rush through life—he notices everything, appreciates the little things, and reminds you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Kahlua has impeccable manners. Need to tie your shoe? He’ll stop and wait. Collar slips off? He’ll walk right over so you can fix it. He listens beautifully and truly wants to please his person. He also has a fun side—he loves squeaky toys, playing fetch (sharing the ball is a work in progress!), giving kisses, and being tucked in under cozy blankets like the pampered hound he is.  This boy is also a lake and boat enthusiast—a true water bug who will happily join you for every lakeside adventure. He grew up with other dogs and prefers being the “big guy,” doing well with respectful smaller dogs or calmer companions. Solo walks? He’s relaxed and steady. With bigger, energetic dogs? He may pull a bit in excitement. Kahlua loves kids who treat him kindly and is friendly toward cats, even though he didn’t share a home with them before. Above all else, Kahlua is drawn to people who make him feel loved—give him attention and he’ll give you his whole heart. He does get springtime seasonal allergies, so starting Apoquel in February or early March keeps him feeling his best. It’s a simple bit of care for a dog who gives so much sweetness in return. Kahlua’s former mama adored him deeply but faced life changes that made caring for him impossible. Now he’s ready for a forever home where he can spend his years surrounded by stability, love, comfort, and a family who appreciates everything he has to offer. Kahlua is ready to be someone’s best friend. If you want a loyal companion with an old soul and endless love to share, come meet this wonderful boy.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in giving this boy the years of his life as your best sidekick ever   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comNovember 22, 2025, 9:52 pm

Meet Lily – Your Future Adventure Buddy & Love Bug Extraordinaire! Lily is a sweet, spunky girl with a heart as big as her curiosity! She’s currently learning all about the joys (and quirky rules) of indoor living, and she’s embracing home life one tail wag at a time. She adores the great outdoors — sniffing everything or just lounging in the sun thinking about snacks. She would do best with a fenced backyard. Stairs? A little spooky at first, but she’s braving them like a champ. Counter surfing? She thought it was part of the tour — we’re working on that. Potty training? She's getting there — slow and steady with plenty of gold stars! Lily LOVES people and generally gets along great with other dogs. With love and guidance, she’ll become the best companion you didn’t know you were missing. Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from trainers at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible. Story
Looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts sweet and snuggly? Meet Jeb—a happy-go-lucky pup who’s all about good vibes, fresh air, and quality time with his people. 🐾❤️ Jeb is the perfect mix of playful and chill. He loves his leash walks through the neighborhood or park, trotting along like he’s greeting his public. Got a fenced backyard? Even better—he enjoys roaming around, sniffing the breeze, and keeping an eye on the squirrels (purely for research, of course). This easygoing guy is great with kids, gentle with other dogs, and even shares his couch with the cat—most of the time. Whether he’s playing a quick game of fetch or stretching out in the sun, Jeb’s just happy to be part of the crew. With his friendly nature and flexible spirit, Jeb would fit right into just about any home. If you’re looking for a walking buddy who’s just as happy lounging with you after, Jeb’s your guy. Adopt Jeb today—because your backyard explorer and cuddle pro is ready to move in! 🏡🐶✨ Adopters have 30 days of free access to 1-on-1 text and email support from trainers at Petcademy to help make every pet's transition into their new home as smooth as possible.
