I’m a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and my foster mom says I’m a pretty handsome dude… what do you think? I’m a super sweet boy with a big heart, and I love to snuggle—it’s one of my favorite things to do! Whether it’s with my foster mom or anyone who enjoys a good cuddle, I’m all in. Could that be you? I live with lots of other dogs, including my three siblings, and we all get along great. I love toys—any kind, really—but stuffies, bones, and ropes are my favorites. If I can chew it, I’m a happy pup! I also love a good game of tug-of-war with my siblings… and sometimes I even let them win I get super excited to meet new people! I’ve been to some special events where I got lots of attention, and let me tell you—I loved every second of it. I’ve spent time with both adults and kids, and I think they’re all so much fun. I’m working hard on my potty training and doing really well when I stick to a schedule. I’m also crate trained—I’m perfectly fine hanging out in there when my humans are away, and I sleep through the night without a peep. That said, I wouldn’t mind upgrading to a comfy bed where we can keep each other company and share sweet dreams. I love being outside, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. I’m not a big fan of the cold, but maybe with a cozy coat, I could learn to like it! I’m just starting to learn about leashes, and with a little guidance, I’ll be ready for all kinds of adventures and family walks. My foster mom says I have the cutest little face and legs that go on forever. I mean… do you think I could be model material? I certainly know how to strike a pose! I’m currently living in a foster home with two of my siblings, and let’s just say I’m the little spitfire of the bunch. I’m just a girl who loves to have FUN! I play hard, zoom around, and then when I’m all tuckered out, I’m all about that beauty sleep. A girl needs her rest, after all! Story
Copper will be good with a family or person experienced with independent dog personalities. He is extremely loving and makes a good companion, however, he lacks stress control, does not have good recall and will bark at anything that moves, including delivery/mail men, trucks, squirrels and things I can't even see. He loves walks but pulls which I haven't been able to fix. He can sometimes make me laugh though and makes me feel very safe. There's more I could say but just knowing him and spending time with him has been a good experience.

SATO SPOTLIGHT! Meet Tiggy! Today’s spotlight shines on Tiggy, a beautiful 2-year-old, 38-pound Sato who I can only describe as a “grandma dog.” ❤️ Not because of her age — she’s only two! — but because of her sweet, gentle personality. Tiggy is the kind of dog who would bake you cookies, crochet you an afghan, and tuck you into bed at night if she could. She has such a motherly, thoughtful nature. She’s levelheaded, eager to please, and not the type to make impulsive decisions. Tiggy seems to think things through and just wants everyone around her to be happy. She’s generally quiet and doesn’t require a ton of activity, although she can absolutely bust out some zoomies when her doggy friends convince her it’s time to play! She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, children, and just about everyone she meets. We have not cat tested Tiggy, but based on her gentle temperament, we believe she could potentially do well with cats with a proper, slow introduction. Tiggy is a little bowlegged in her back end. We did thorough testing and found no evidence of a previous injury. It’s believed this was most likely caused by inadequate nutrition during her growing phase. It doesn’t bother her, slow her down, or prevent her from doing anything — we think it just adds to her charm. ❤️ At about 38 pounds, Tiggy is a wonderful medium size and would fit beautifully into so many different types of homes.
