Roxy has a sad story, she arrived to the shelter in 2017, after being found wandering the streets. She was nervous upon arrival, uncertain with her new environment. After being at the shelter for some time, she found, what we thought, was her forever home. After being in the home for 4 years, Roxy's adopter found himself homeless and she was returned to the shelter. She needs a home that will allow her to decompress after being in and out of the shelter system. Roxy deserves an adult home, low-traffic, where she gets to be who she really is. She's good on leash, accepts rewards happily and enjoys to be pet. She needs a home where she can experience the world with her trusting family; providing support and positive reinforcement. Roxy is 9yrs old, she is still playful and full of spunk; she is friendly with people she knows and has been friendly with strangers since being back at the shelter but was reported to be protective in the home and guard things. Unfortunately, his family can no longer care for him. He was adopted as a young puppy to a rescue that doesn’t take their animals back. The family personally tried to rehome him on their own, but to no avail and local shelters are full. He is desperately in need of a new home ASAP! Chance is an affectionate dog that loves to be right by his owner's side. He has a nice medium energy level, but can also lay around for half the day. He enjoys short bursts of play in the yard to tire him out or a nice walk around the neighborhood. Chance cannot get enough pets and belly rubs too! He’s a really wonderful boy! He knows many commands and is fully house and crate trained. Chance is good with dogs but has not been around cats. His ideal family would be one with prior large dog experience and no children under 13 due to his size & inexperience around young kids. A fenced yard is highly preferred. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. Brownie was rescued from the jungle in Puerto Rico along with his siblings. He was then brought to the Love of All Dogs safe house, where he was housed alongside 30+ other pups.
