Story
Meet Roni — a 6 year old, 53 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a heart full of love and a deep desire to be close to her people. Quick Facts: Name: Roni Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix Age: 6 years old Weight: 53 lbs. House-Trained: Yes Crate-Trained: Yes, but not needed Good with Dogs: Yes (would really love a doggie sibing) Good with Cats: Yes Good with Kids: Yes, best with kids who can handle jumpiness Energy Level: Medium Fence Required: Yes About Roni’s Breed: Our best guess is that Roni is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mixed breed. Rhodesian Ridgebacks are known for their loyal, athletic, and deeply devoted nature. Originally bred as hunting and guardian dogs, they’re confident, intelligent, and form strong bonds with their families. Despite their impressive presence, they’re often gentle, affectionate companions who love being close to their people and thrive on routine and connection. An ideal home for a Rhodesian Ridgeback is one that offers consistent companionship, regular exercise, and a secure outdoor space. They do best with families who appreciate an active, people oriented dog and can provide structure, positive training, and plenty of time together. With the right balance of activity and affection, they become incredibly loyal, loving members of the household. What to Love about Roni: This beautiful girl is the definition of a loyal companion. She adores her humans and hopes to find a family who is home more often than not, because being near her people is truly her happy place. She’s convinced she’s a 50 lb lap dog and will gladly curl up beside you (or on you!) whenever she gets the chance. She really thrives with a doggie companion too and hopes to have a canine friend in her future forever home! Roni is house trained, crate trained, and has such great manners that she can be left alone without a crate. She has medium energy — the perfect blend of playful and cuddly — and enjoys her twice daily 1–2 mile walks, where she shines on the leash. She’ll need a fenced yard where she can safely run and play. She greets people warmly and interacts well with everyone, though she tends to be a bit of a “girl’s girl” and especially loves female energy. She does well with older school aged kids, though her excited jumping may be too much for little ones. She’s been good with cats so far, though she may chase outdoor cats because she thinks they want to play. She’s met female dogs successfully and would likely do well with males too. Whether she’s your one and only or has a doggy buddy, she’ll thrive as long as she gets plenty of love and companionship. She also has some natural guard dog tendencies and will bark at people walking by — she takes her job of watching over her home seriously. Roni’s Rad Highlights: • 6 year old, 53 lb possible Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a deeply loving, people oriented personality • House trained, crate trained, and has excellent home manners — can be left alone without a crate • Medium energy girl who enjoys 1–2 mile walks twice a day and is great on a leash • Needs a fenced yard to safely play and explore • Friendly with people and especially loves female energy; good with older school aged kids • Has done well with cats indoors and has met dogs politely (would love a canine sibling!) • Loyal, cuddly, and convinced she’s a 50 lb lap dog • Has some natural guard dog tendencies and will bark at people passing by • Best suited for a home where someone is around often — she loves being close to her humans Roni is a sweet, affectionate, head tilting beauty who wants nothing more than to be part of a loving family. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly, people oriented companion, Roni is ready to be your devoted best friend. Story
Hello! My name is Jules! A sweet girl who’s always ready for fun. I’m a big fan of cuddles and will soak up every bit of affection you give me. I have a playful, happy spirit and bring lots of joy wherever I go. I’m working on my crate training too and looking for a loving home that will help me grow into a confident, well-mannered girl. I do best with plenty of play, exercise, and snuggle time. From the grownups: Mama Jo looks like lovely mix of a Lab and a Vizsla—around 45 pounds—and we expect her pups to grow into similar medium-sized companions, ready for both adventure and couch-side consults. We included a photo of mama in the slide show. As for dad… well, let’s just say this is a bit of a mystery episode. We may not know who the fathers are, but rest assured—they were clearly very handsome. We’ve had to do a bit of guessing on breed mix. So ask yourself: are you ready to fall in love? Because around here, it’s not a matter of if—it’s when 💙

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi I'm known as Momma! My estimated DOB is March 2019, I may be considered a senior but I still have plenty of spunk left.  Right now I am just thankful to my fosters for helping me and my 2 puppies Poe and Ty and Pawfect Match for also rescuing me. You see I lived as a stray for over 6 years out and about, no home, no family, no medical care.  I stayed in an abandon building on someone's property and ate what I could find yet the property owners would not let me be saved. The nice neighbor(my fosters) never gave up and recently I had another litter of puppies(Poe and Ty) and I moved to another abandon building near the property where my now fosters would talk to Momma to build her trust.  Then one day the fosters were outside and both puppies who were just learning to walk crossed into their yard and Momma followed behind.  The Foster allowed Momma and the 2 puppies to shelter in their home and they were reported as found strays and no one claimed them. Now part of Pawfect Match we are ready for our forever homes!   Pupdate: Momma spent some time at a temp foster and did amazing meeting new people and dogs.  She is a go with the flow type of gal.  She loves to just lounge around on a comfy dog bed, outside in the sun or shade and even liked babysitting the fosters grandson while in his playpen.  Momma did great in a crate, ate meals in her crate, takes treats gently and is a slow pace walker.  She loves pets, she will come stand by you but is patient waiting for you to pet her. When you stop petting her she will gently nudge you for more pets.  Momma is just the sweetest!  The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 5, 2026, 9:49 am
