Story
Tyke came to Bonaparte's because he had a terrible injury in his hind leg where he was shot and needed an amputation. The leg was fractured but there were also bullet fragments trying to push themselves out. Tyke has since had the amputation and healed beautifully and we have discovered what a love this guy is...truly the perfection definition of a gentle giant. He is great with cats, good with little dogs, good with kids and most people. There is a certain type of male that can trigger his anxiety so we are working on figuring out that that type is. He also does seem to have a bit of separation anxiety which can cause him to sometimes have an accident in the house but we are working on it and paper towels are his fave when his foster is gone so those would need to be out of reach-but really with how just perfect this guy is that is an easy fix in a home! Other than that he is house broken and just truly perfection! He is a strong guy on leash so be prepared for his excitement to pull you along! Hi guys! I am looking for a home for me and my roommates dog Goose. My roommate is moving back out of state and she doesn’t get along with my 5 dogs at home. She is around 7 years old and is the sweetest and most well mannered dog. She is a mixed breed and we aren’t sure of what as we adopted her from a shelter. We have a large kennel, new bag of food, and leash/collar that are offered for free with her adoption to a good home. She isn’t the happiest around other dogs in the times we have introduced her so I would suggest that she is best fit in a home without other dogs.
