Winnie Bear is a young Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who was found abandoned in mid-July. After being treated for a high temperature from the heat, she spent time in a foster home and with a family before coming back to us.Winnie Bear is:• Spayed, microchipped, and house trained• Calm in the house and no longer requires anxiety medication• Sweet, loving, and enjoys long walks• Very fond of playing with the water hose• Best suited for a home without small dogs or young childrenShe is a very sweet dog, but we have found she can be rowdy around kids and recently went after our smaller dog over a toy. While no biting was involved, she would be happiest with bigger playful dogs or with an active owner and a nice yard where she can thrive.💰 Rehoming fee: $150

🐾❤️ Meet Bodie! ❤️🐾 Say hello to Bodie, a handsome 4-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix! 🐶 With his adorable looks and lots of puppy potential, he’s ready to find a family to call his own. 🏡💕 At this age, Bodie is still learning all about the world and will need plenty of love, patience, socialization, and basic puppy training to help him grow into the best boy he can be. 🎾🐾 He’s looking for a family who’s ready for all the fun, snuggles, and adventures that come with raising a puppy! ❤️ Bodie is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines, and receives regular protection against fleas, ticks, and heartworm. HIs adoption fee is $150.00 **All New Leash on Life dogs must be adopted to families willing to have their pets be allowed inside- especially at night. No dog is allowed to be put on a tie out or chain outside and should be walked on a leash when not in a fenced yard.**🐕💖

I’m just here chilling until my forever family shows up. No big deal. 😂I came to the shelter as a stray, so the humans don’t know much about my past. As far as my personality goes, I’d say I’m giving nonchalant teenage boy who acts like nothing impresses him. You know the type. 😎 I’m just trying to figure out this whole life thing, and maybe find someone cool enough to figure it out with me.🐶 A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME:😎 Six months old and already mastering the art of being unbothered.🐕 I seem to do well with other dogs here at the shelter!🐱 Cats? 🤷‍♂️ No idea, man.👧 Kids? Still unknown.🏡 My history is a mystery since I came in as a stray.I’m still a puppy, which means I’ve got plenty of growing, learning, and figuring things out to do. I’ll need a family willing to help me become the best version of myself. I might act like a teenager who knows everything, but between you and me… I’m still learning. Don’t tell anyone. 🤫😂💕 NOT SURE IF WE’RE A MATCH?No worries. The shelter offers TRIAL ADOPTIONS to help make sure we find homes where we can truly thrive together. We can see if we click before making it official!✂️ THE NEUTER SITUATION: I’m not neutered just yet, but you can still adopt me! I’ll simply need to stay at the shelter until my neuter surgery is completed. Then it’s off to my new life!💰 ADOPTION FEE: $110 + tax📅 IMPORTANT, DUDE: Due to ongoing construction at the shelter, appointments are REQUIRED for meet-and-greets. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
