Story

Winnie Bear is a young Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who was found abandoned in mid-July. After being treated for a high temperature from the heat, she spent time in a foster home and with a family before coming back to us.Winnie Bear is:• Spayed, microchipped, and house trained• Calm in the house and no longer requires anxiety medication• Sweet, loving, and enjoys long walks• Very fond of playing with the water hose• Best suited for a home without small dogs or young childrenShe is a very sweet dog, but we have found she can be rowdy around kids and recently went after our smaller dog over a toy. While no biting was involved, she would be happiest with bigger playful dogs or with an active owner and a nice yard where she can thrive.💰 Rehoming fee: $150

Story

It’s no mystery that Scooby is truly one of a kind. Scooby is a big dog with an even bigger heart. More than anything, he just wants to be with his people — whether that’s playing fetch outside or curling up beside you indoors. Scooby is happiest simply existing alongside the people he loves. Like his cartoon counterpart, Scooby can be a little nervous when faced with new experiences. But with patience, reassurance, and love, he’s learning what safety and trust really feel like. Once he’s comfortable, his goofy, loving personality shines through. Scooby knows his basic commands and is highly motivated by his personal version of Scooby Snacks: slices of American cheese. Honestly, if cheese is involved, this man is ready to negotiate anything. Scooby is looking for a patient, loving home that will continue helping him build confidence while giving him all the companionship he craves. In return, he’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and a best friend who just wants to be by your side. *** Disclaimer *** This profile reflects information provided and behaviors observed by those who have interacted with this dog. Terms like “house-trained,” “crate-trained,” or “has done well with dogs/cats/children” indicate past behavior, not a guarantee of future performance. Patience, proper introductions, and continued training are always essential.

Story

Mabel is an approx. 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who weighs approx. 60 lbs. She is a strong, dominant woman who does not take crap from anyone — including her husband Larry or his best bud Teddy. Equal-opportunity accountability. Mabel is also very quick to talk smack to other dogs as they walk by. Loud opinions. Zero hesitation. She is full of herself, and honestly? She’s earned it. She’s a gorgeous girl and she knows exactly what she brings to the table. Larry and Mabel are a bonded pair, no negotiations. They met in boarding after being rescued a few months apart, and somehow it was fate. He’s the Ricky to her Lucy. She’s prim, proper, and runs a tight ship. He’s the “I’ll chew your ear off while we walk through Home Depot because I love you so much” kind of guy. Together, they are perfection. They both adore people and will greet you with enthusiastic teeth kisses. Larry is also exceptionally skilled at turning himself into a bowling ball and knocking down the pins — and yes, the pin is you. You’ve been warned. 🥴 Mabel and Larry cannot go to a home with other animals, but trust us when we say this: the two of them are more than enough. Entertainment, companionship, chaos, and love — all included. Mabel is heartworm positive and currently on the slow-kill method. She will need to continue heartworm protection throughout her life.
