Once abandoned in the countryside and brought to safety through a rescue mission, Tess is now thriving in her foster home—learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Though she can be shy when first meeting new people, Tess warms up with patience, kindness, and—most of all—soft pets and cuddles. Once she trusts you, she bonds deeply and becomes an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion. Tess is playful, especially when it comes to her toys—she adores them and would love if you’d join in for a game of tug, chase, or keep-away! She also gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys engaging in friendly playtime. A doggie sibling could really help her continue to blossom, but she could also thrive as your one-and-only with a little understanding and structure. She's fully house and crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and loves a predictable routine.
