Goose is a 2½-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix weighing in at a lovable 85 pounds of pure wiggles, charm, and heart. If you’re looking for a big, goofy companion with a gentle soul, Goose might just be your perfect match.At first, Goose can be a little nervous in new situations—but give him a moment (and maybe a tasty treat or two), and you’ll quickly see his sweet personality shine through. One of his most endearing quirks is his adorable “submissive grin,” which he offers when he’s feeling a mix of excitement and shyness. It’s guaranteed to make you smile every time.Goose is a smart boy who picks up on commands quickly. He already knows “sit” and “shake/paw,” and he’s eager to keep learning—especially when food is involved! He previously lived in a home with small children and has experience being part of a family environment.This versatile pup has also shown he can peacefully coexist with a variety of animals, including cats, ducks, chickens, and even goats. He’s reported to be playful with both large and small dogs, though due to his size and enthusiasm, slow and thoughtful introductions are recommended to set everyone up for success.Goose is looking for a home that will give him a little patience at first and a lot of love forever. Once he feels safe, he’ll reward you with loyalty, laughs, and plenty of wiggly affection.If you’re ready for a big-hearted companion who just needs a moment to bloom, Goose is ready to meet youThe dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. Story
Moose has come from a dysfunctional family who was unable to take proper care of him. We rescued him and am now looking for hi new family. He is a very sweet & loving boy who love tummy rubs, chasing balls, tug a rope and just going for a walk. We are looking for a homeowner who could give him a happy senior life with a gentle hand. We will provide a good start with one month worth of food, toys, treats and kennel if needed. Please consider Moose soon and as we move on in our senior years as well.
